It'd be the coolest thing if he were back but unless ney boosts the Nos up on the Nasser trolling, no way Prison S G will let him go. He's to Al Thani what Han Solo was to Jabba.

If he kicks it up a notch and acts all manic off the pitch and like he lost all ball control during practice and in pre-season, there just might be a chance. But even then, the emir might just keep as his trophy case in his Carbon Freezing Chamber :snowman:

Either that or the Princess Leia Organa treatment

LIONEL MESSI is the main man behind Barcelona's Neym plan.

That's according to Spanish football expert Graham Hunter, who told Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast Messi is driving the pursuit of his £198million ex-strikepartner Neymar from PSG.

Messi wants him

Messi is or was on vacation on a remote island and left Catalonia right after the Copa del Rey final so it sounds like bullshit presstalk to me

i'm shure Leo prefers Ney over Griezmann but the idea that Messi drives barça's tranfert business is ridiculous,

Messi needs an heir and despite the Dembele fanboys saying contrary, he's just not good enough.

More likely that we missed De Ligt because he didn't want to be Pique's backup. Doubt it's a financial issue.

And did he speak with Barto or Valverde to come up with that conclusion? Of course not, as soon as we are linked with Neymar, our interest shifted. All MDL needed was a little push to show that we really wanted him, just like Barto did that push for De Jong.

Im sure that there are 3 major reasons for why de Ligt didn't end up here: 1) Minos transfer show 2) Valverde not making an effort to convince him 3) club / Bartomeu not prioritizing him as indispensable like de Jong. Always expressed concerns regarding his rather slow and heavy movements and furthermore not being that technical gifted - especially when Lenglet isn't either. They wouldn't match each other that well and put Sergio / rakitic into the equation and we would be outplayed by every major club. His profile just doesn't suit us that well - Todibo does, we just dont know if his level is up there.

This could have been easier had Neymar expressed his transfer in private early this year. Then the board would have made adjustments accordingly and possibly skipped Griezzman. Because it's last minute. It's basically a scramble. And now he might have to downgrade further into obscurity in the Italian league or rot in Paris :(
