Teams are starting to spend more wisely than before unless they're desperate for a certain signing. Barca shouldn't be desperate enough to offer 100m on top of Cou + Raki.

The positives of booting Rakitic slightly outweigh the negatives of Neymar arriving imo.

I am pessimistic about Neymar’s return but there is a possibility it works if he sorts himself out. With Rakitic you know you have a bum on your hands and he isn’t going to change or get younger.

Indirectly it is, no matter how small my contribution as socio is.
I am not against the player Neymar, but due to history and our wage/financial situation against anything that is rumoured now.

Yes, it's just too much.

I hope Neymar will prove me right by being motivated and fully committed now. Time's not ran out for him yet. He can still prove everyone wrong.

If we get that version of Neymar, the guy who was touted to be the next great player after Messi and CR, then it's a big W for us.

He's the second most talented player in the World after Messi, but talent alone doesn't get you to the top.

Rakitic is old, slow, on big wages and only has 2 years left on his contract.

Getting rid of him would be a bonus at this point, dawg.

sad thing is i doubt Rakitic will leave unless his salary is doubled or something. but who would offer that to a declining 31 year old

coutinho for sure will leave since he's flopped here and the fans have turned against him

Neymar was no better then than he is now, but he was younger. I will give you that. On the other hand, there is always inflation in the fast growing football market.

Except for the fans that are too butthurt because Neymar wants to leave and want him out of PSG at all cost, nobody want that kind of deal. I'm ok if Neymar leaves but not for players that would have been on the bench at Barça. If you lose your best player by a mile and you accept trading him with some players, you should ask for some precious players in their team. Not Rakitic but Arthur...
