I respect Dembele's choice if that is the case.

Personally, I wouldn't want to be used as a currency in a negotiation deal by my employer either.

So what kind of deal did they offer yesterday if they thought it was closer?

Surely they must have told Dembele he was going to be part of the negotiations before they submit their offer?

These news outlets have no clue what's going on. They literally keep changing the list of players and the price Barcelona have offered every 5 minutes. Like yesterday they said we offered 2 installments of 85m euros and that would most likely get accepted. Now they're running a totally different story the next day.

honestly if not for his wages this wouldn't be a terrible deal

Get rid of rakitic

loan Dembele, he plays under a coach that has some idea about football, gets into better form, we then either
1) Bring him back next season and sell saurez
2) sell him for a going market rate with his new form.

but still paying griezman, neymar and messi, cannot be good for our finances

I know you really don’t want the deal to happen, that’s clear from your posts, but take these headlines with a pinch of salt. It was only a couple of weeks ago 300m was the price for Neymar according to L’Equipe lol

My thoughts exactly.

For weeks Barca didn't have cash and we were offering players plus cash.
Or a loan with cash next summer.

In neither scenario we had more than 50m or 100m cash to offer.

Then, we were in Paris two weeks ago.
No deal.
Yesterday we were there again.
Agents on that video looked as if someone died.
Yet, one Barca director said: we are getting closer.

Then papers reported that we offered 160m in two installments and that Psg needs to think about.
But that a deal is close.

And now, a 160m cash deal which was close yesterday, according to papers has suddenly U-turned into another Raki+cash or Raki+Dembele (loan)+cash.
So, what happened with a 160m cash deal from yesterday which was on a verge of agreeing.

Further, Raki and Dembele should enter this deal.
Yet, only 2 days ago, Raki was on a verge of Juve and Inter.
Dembele says that there is no way he will leave.

So which deal is it then?
1) 160m cash
2) or Raki+Dembele+cash
Regarding a 2nd deal, both Raki and Dembele said today that they won't leave a club.

These papers are changing stories and deals 88 times per day.

I want the deal to happen because I think that Ney is the best creator in the world (after Messi).

But this shit reminds me of the first try of signing coutinho

According to RMC Sport: "According to our information, Ivan Rakitic, who is mentioned in a potential transfer with Neymar where he would serve as a bargaining chip, would not be excited to join Paris Saint-Germain at this time. The mid-31s are referred to as Ousmane Dembélé in this exchange in addition to a high transfer fee. Like the Frenchman, the 31-year-old Croatian midfielder has yet to be convinced. This just proves these news outlets have no clue what's happening. One report is saying he's fine with the move and another is saying he wants to stay in Barcelona.

This is truly incredible.

We have 5 days left to get this done and nobody seems to know what is involved.

Bordas - "We are closer to an agreement"
Media- "Rakitic doesn't want to go" "Dembele doesn't want to go" "Barca can't afford the wages"

Unreal narratives going on.
