And this is about his non-football activities... probably the best you could find.

Most of the season he was prasied for his leadership and good play, and yes mats, Alba and Messi were better, he was still top5 at least. It doesn't make sense to single him out when he actually was pretty good. It also doesn't make sense to question that the players backed Valverde, when this was quiet obvious. Also, as said, board pushed Valverde to extend his contract while he preferred to wait Till end of the season. You clearly have an agenda to frame Valverde in a bad way.

Lmao it's like 2 posts about tennis, nice try, here another page if you want http://www.barcaforum.com/showthread.php/53-3-Gerard-Piqué/page845
And being top 5 out of 11  what a praise  the 11 that includes Rakitic, Busquets, Roberto, Suarez lol
I am the one who said it makes sense why players backed Valverde, it's very simple, the trainings are picnic, and the seniors have their spots no matter the performances, it's that simple.
Again why are you writing this shite about "board pushed him to sign the contract", wtf is that? Do you work there? Did the sport shitpaper tell you that?
Have agenda to frame Valverde in a bad way  wtf am I reading, too many Madrid fans here trolling.

I think Neymar's and Messi's stats are really impressive aswell. The level in the South American qualification is quite high, with very few weak teams. European qualifiers however, have more teams that are ranked low and you get more easy games with many goals. Also, Messi's stats are achieved playing for a largely dysfunctional team, Brazil and Portugal have quite a bit more quality and better coaches.

Well... The games like one taoday can explain why... The mighty Luxembourg. Stats padding game.

Exactly. The hat trick against Spain is literally his only goals against top opponents. If you look at the list of who he’s scored against it’s quite tragic despite the amount of goals he has.

Even today, after scoring only one against the mighty Luxembourg at home, the narcissist manage to get a lot of headlines. His PR are absolutely unreal, imagine Messi having a Jorge Mendes type instead. Lewa hat-trick yesterday barely got a mention but with Rapenaldo everything gets hyped up to unreal proportions...

Incredibly impressive by Ney when you consider he has played in arguably the weakest teams in Brazilian history. Some of the players he has had to play with wouldn't get into Brazil 3rd teams of yesteryear.

If Leo and Ney were in European qualifying they would both comfortably be over 100 goals by now. Imagine prime Leo vs Liechenstein, San Marino etc. Would be minimum 3 goals every game.

Put Leo and Ney in a Euros where the toughest team they faced is Wales and they would also have an international trophy. Also consider the weight of expectation on Leo and Ney compared to the rest.

There's no doubt Leo should have been better for Argentina but his and Neys international careers are seriously underrated.

This Brazil May be weaker but by not much. They are still good enough to be called an elite team.

Also, Brazil is still much stronger than other South African teams.

Agree, PLUS the amount of easy goals that Ronaldo scores against non-pro teams like Moldavia, Färoa Island, Andorra and so on... makes his stats look pretty bad.
