Barcelona finance chief Enrique Tombas confirmed they made two offers for Neymar.
He revealed, "With the conditions we offered, the recruitment of Neymar was perfectly viable.
"We made two proposals, one with players included in the transaction, one without. Both were rejected by PSG."

That was known, regardless what they try to say now.
The first offer was done very very late, less than two weeks before the window was about to close.

PSG didn't want to sell, that's right and Barcelona wasn't serious in buying him, it is as clear as air above the North Pole.

His injury-list is still better than Messi's, mind that.

His present injury seems to be nothing serious, was more like a precaution, specially that he left the pitch running.

:lol::lol: comparing Neydive's productivity to Messi is a criminal offense. On one hand you have 4 CL, 10 Liga, ~700 career goals,~300 assists and on the other hand you have a guy who hasn't scored in CL knockouts since 3 years ago or something.

Who was comparing anyone to Messi? I was simply mentioning injuries, hope you get the difference.

BTW, it's hard to score in a certain stage of a certain tournament, if you don't play.
But anyway, even the best of the best aren't just simply measured by goals having been scored. There are much more to football than mere tap-ins or successful penalties.

Let's just pray we don't meet PSG in the UCL.
With Val-moron as coach, I have a feeling it won't end well for us.

That's on Valverde if that ends bad, our team is good enough to win CL this season.

There's no way we are inferior to PSG when on paper.

I don't hate Neymar, I just think there are many other better opportunities than Neymar at the moment.
Well fat Neydive scored in 4 out of 5 games in fall in Ligue1. The majority of the goals he scored with finess style and skill. What opportunities have you in mind?

Ansu Fati. No injuries, no fat, no sisters, no erratic behaviour and not 200M euros. lol

He wanted to leave. Rot in Paris.

Neymar injury is a risk. A risk that you shouldn't take for 170M+
Never mind, PSG will still be a pain in the ass when negotiate the deal.
Players of that price should be far less risky tbh.
If for some reason Mpabbe became available, he is the one worth breaking the bank and altering our squad planning for him. Not Neymar. biggest talent of his generation IMO, but ship has sailed.
Next summer CM & athletic CB should be -by far- our top 2 priorities.

When you are in your early 20s its far easier to get away with not having optimal sleeping patters or without an optimal diet.

But now he's in his late 20s, he will need to take much better care of himself to have a chance of staying injury free.

True but I have bad feeling PSG will never sell to Barca. Real has much better relations with them

Barça and Neymar failed to reach an agreement over an unpaid €43M renewal bonus. Neymar's demands were considered to be unreasonable. A judge will resolve the case. Regardless of the outcome, it is not expected.to impact the chances of Barca signing Neymar. [ESPN] [Sport]

Of course it is going to impact his chances of signing for Barcelona. The fanbase hated him enough already, now they're going to hate him even more and even the ones who were in favour of signing him will turn their back to that idea now.

Even Messi recognized that it's fair for the fanbase to not want Neymar back due to the way he left.
