A player as good as Neymar will struggle to be happy with just being a 'goal scoring winger' and will want a team built round him more than that.
Leaving for him can see why he would want that as well as the money but going to PSG and French league just made too much of his seasons irrelevant and seems frustrated with it ever since.
If somehow does end up back at Barca would guess he would be more playmaker than winger.

Idea itself was good but the choice to join PSG disaster. Of course, unlucky he lost the final vs Bayern and now first leg City.

Sure, but it wasn't even that long ago he was absolutely desperate to join Barca again. He might have wanted more, but it's not exactly yielded him the results I bet he imagined.
Even great and talented players like Neymar have to make some sacrifices sometimes.

If Neymar didnt care, he wouldnt tried every summer to come back to barca. As long as he doesnt win a cl with paris his leaving from barca was a mistake (for both sides).
