Good news is, funding won't be a problem this time. He wants to team up with Messi again so bad he'd to take a salary cut and even get paid in barley. Barca will win on the marketing boost and merchandise sales alone, let alone the sporting side. Best bet is he joins on a free next year and we sign Haaland this summer.
This Mercato is gonna be BIG!

Prediction: Laporta will release the gas and drop all the deadweight ballast --> B-balloon to climb hiya n hiiiiiiya

Why would anybody in their right mind bring back a party boy Neymar in a team full of youngsters. Its like you all want that none of them fulfill their potential.

Sure Neymar is great, but all our talented youngsters need a role model in the mold of someone like Modric, Van Dijk, Lewa, etc. Players who are global superstars, but still work hard, and give everything on the pitch, trying to improve each game. Griezmann for all his flaws is a better influence to our youngsters than Neymar could ever be.

Getting Neymar would make Messi happy, and in the short term, maybe be good for the club, but in the long term could be one of the clubs worst decision ever.

i'd give them dembele + 50 mil max

they don't have any advantage since Neymar will be free next summer

This is the deal to offer if the club want to bring him back. No way should Barca pay a premium price for him with the way he left. He also need to drop the lawsuits against the club.

Dropping all the lawsuits should be the first condition.

It seems like Neymar is more desperate to return to Barca than Barca are to bring him back.

50m + Dembele seems a lot when you think he’s out of contract next year but it’s Neymar, he’s marketable as well as class.

I’d actually do that, he’s LEVELS above Dembele.

It is a lot given the mess we're in financially, but Dembele is just not a good footballer and there's way too much smoke about Juve and his entourage talking about a free transfer next summer. Given his history Barca need to get out in front here and tell him he has to leave or stay on the bench all season and lose his place for the French WC Squad.

We’ve given him enough chances now. Been here how many seasons? 4?

He only really brings speed and runs in behind to the team which we do lack, other than that link up play is average, decision making pretty terrible, shooting is below average. Would rather we move on from him if we can replace with Neymar. Laporta managed to consolidate some debts and looking to sell Barca corporate so we can make some signings. We should be fine imo.

Besides this , how about his injury history or the fact that Neymar has pretty much become a playmaker like Messi who both want the ball at their feet. Who is going to make the runs ? 33 year old Aguero with 1 knee ? Might as well have kept Ratomeu if these are the players we are after.

Very good points.

I don't believe the rumors that he wants to be back in the first place. But if Laporta wants to bring him back for whatever reason, fuck him.
