His decision-making has gotten worse. His passing is the worst I’ve seen of it. His dribbling which is his true ace card was sloppy. One touch and he was dispossessed easily.

Messi at 34 with 1000 games under his belt looks like he has more left in the tank than this chap.

Worrying days for him.

He was ball hogging even in his own penalty box. He needs a slap in the face to pull it together. If he becomes more of a teamplayer with this squad, they can win everything.

Peak Neymar was at Barca, he will never reach those heights again

I agree, but if Messi hadn?t scored, critics would have been saying the same thing about him too. Browse the Messi thread for reference. Beyond Messi?s goal, he was bang average against Man City.

Neymar is still in a good footballing age and he looked worse. Messi didn't overty tondo things on his own. He was trying to help in the back without getting exausted and PSG didn't hold well enough on the ball for him to be more useful. But Neymar really fucked up multiple attacks with his ball Hogging and tunnel vision. Also his physical fitness isn't on the required level yet. For both of them.

What I don't understand is why he always interrupts his deep runs. He gets a through ball from Messi and stops instead of running and taking the 1v1.
