Nah. You gave over saturation as the reason to it. I am 100% convinced that is not the case with Neymar. He simply doesn’t enjoy watching it.

It’s like you having eaten pizza 5 times in the week and on the 6th I invite you to Hamburger and you decline. Then I say “Had too much fast food for the week already?” And you respond “No, I could never have enough. It’s just I don’t like Hamburger. Let’s go for pizza(again)”.
