Iniesta played in the UCL final in 2006....and he kicked ass, and was only 21 years old....

You could read in german media today that Lucas Barrios told Radio Marca that Sahin already signed for Madrid.

Far from running a midfield every week. He made it exceptionally well at 25. Ozil is not there yet, he is 23. I like to see improvement but I am not excepting a world's difference next year but the year after. Same for Sahin.

Ozil is more talented but Sahin is more aggressive.

nah, Iniesta was pretty much established as awesome by 23/24.

anyway I dunno what that has to do with Oezil, who is also awesome.

Sahin is COMPLETELY unnecessary for you guys, and really should be left to either stay at Dortmund (hopefully) or go somewhere he'll be needed in the First XI.

but sadly he probably will end up in Madrid. squad stacking is in your DNA.

He'd do well to go to Utd imo

So Nuri at Madrid surely means Parejo's never returning there?

I wouldnt like Sahin leaving Dortmund now. They seem to be on the edge on becoming another force in germany and maybe europe, but a Sahin departure could hurt that (although their biggest talent is set to stay for several more years fortunately).

And it would really surprise me if Sahin would prevail in RM. He is in a totally different situation in Dortmund: even though being still quite young, he is surrounded by a bunch of young guns of which he is the most experienced players. And that surely helps dictating the play and the team a lot. And this is what he also failed to do in the turkish MT, where he didnt settle so far.

And i think him choosing to play for Turkey over Germany is as much of a mistake as a transfer to RM would be, for pretty much the same reason: he just doesnt have the lobby and the respect of the players around him to bring in his strength as a playmaker.

yes, i wouldn't mind if he leaves for valencia but not for rial madrid. I cant see him performing well for a big club already because of his little ego. but on the other hand, valencia would be perfect for him.
btw there is no mistake in choosing the nation you love..

Graham Hunter and Guillem Balague said on Revista De La Liga that Real Madrid have already done the deal to sign Sahin though.

Which is a huge huge shame, as I wanted him to stay at Dortmund and do the biz for them in the UCL as I think BVB could maybe reach the semi-finals of next years UCL at least. But without Sahin, I'm not so sure.

Also wanted Barca to sign, Sahin, he's better than Busquets IMO.

Sorry, but that is not true. Busquets was an integral part of a WC-winning team, Sahin is far from that. Busquets may be a cheating diver, but that does not take away anything from his playing abilities.

Oh my God, that means we are going to be stuffed with some Cesc on our faces... I so much hoped he goes to Madrid

Perhaps he come to our Club; Nuri Sahin is a very good footballer of the Bundesliga-Team Borussia Dortmund! He is a turkey man; by the way, he can better talk with Mesut Özil in his own language and nobody understand it! However, we will seen it when he comes, we haven´t much time until summer-transfers! Saludos. :copa:

you obviously haven't been watching Borussia Dortmund enough this season. Sahin has just been named Bundesliga Player of the Year has he not?

yes busquets was good in world cup for spain in that specific postion, but that is not to say that Sahin or anyone else for that matter is not better than him.

Personally Sahin is the better player. Sahin sits back for Dortmund and mops up, and chooses when to go forward wisely. Scoring goals and getting assists in the process. Also his Free Kicks are fantastic!

WTF do Madrid need him for? Don't they already have Ozil? Not to mention...

Alonso, Kaka, Canales, Leon, Lass, and Khedira?

No matter what midfield position he could play in, Madrid have 2-3 players in there that they bought for crazy money only a season or two ago. He would be insane to go there -- it would destroy his career. Just look at Pedro Leon who was wanted badly by AC Milan, where is he now? Canales as well is at an important stage where he needs games, and he's riding the bench.
