Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Júnior

Improvin' Perfection!!
Picking up Oscar and Hazard in the same year, this might be the best pair ever added to one team in the same year. Hazard will get even better, Oscar will get a lot better. It's one thing to spend big bucks on transfers, it's quite another to get the right players.

You're right, adding those two made the Pep era success possible, one of the best runs any team has ever had.

I think Oscar and Hazard might have even better prospects than Neymar, Balon D'Or level. I see Premier League and CL titles coming up for Chelsea over the next few years, if they stay with Di Mateo and the rest of their current management.

Laudrup and Koeman in 89 are right up there too or - to keep it in the family - Nadal/Stoichkov the year later.

What a performance. I'm so jealous of chelsea right now. Oscar is really the first player in a long time (outside of barcelona) that impressed me. I feel like watching chelsea now only because of this guy.

I hope he comes to barca one day, imagine dat midfield

----Busquets----
Thiago----Oscar

or he could play as a winger (similar to what iniesta's doing right now)

Oscar is indeed special, but it is evident he's still getting used to the EPL. He hasn't been able to dominate but he's not really ever been bad either. Needs to bulk up a tad, but the skill, desire and work rate is there. He works a hell of a lot harder to track back and put in the tackle than a lot of attacking midfielders, especially Brazilian ones. You can see he's the type of player that will take a few years to really become a top player but all in all I'm confident it'll end up being money well spent.

He's usually boss for Brazil though. No adjusting needed there!

I just love Oscar. Always working hard and improving. He had a slight slump at Chelsea, but I feel he's motivate again. Hopefully Benitez will play him and utilize him more. Development is really coming over nicely. I couldn't be more happier. And people said that the premier league was bad for Brazilians

It is tremendous that this is his first season in Europe, in an entirely new team and already has 6 European goals. It is unreal. He is tied with Messi in the CL for the number of goals, both with 5. It is really astonishing.

Neymar gets a lot of praise but Oscar and perhaps Lucas are up there with him if not better.

I don't think there's anything special about his game, yes he outshon Neymar in the England game but even Ramires managed to do that, I think Oscar is behind both Hazard & Mata in terms of the Chelsea bright talents.

He fades sometimes, and while his goal scoring certainly polishes his performances a lot he is still a very smart player. I do not particularly think that he is an extremely talented player, Hazard is more talented and Mata developed his skill over the years, but Oscar plays a very nice game. Not so much natural and raw talent as much as it is a mature game.

Yeah he seems to drift in and out of games, but he certainly has all the potential to be a star. Strangley enough I don't feel the same about Hazard. He also appears to drift in abd out of games, but on top of that whenever I've watched him I've failed to see what all the hype is about. Great player and all but I'm not sure he has the potential to be a star. Maybe I'm missing something and should watch him play for Belgium? I'm sure I'll be proved wrong come next season if Chelsea sort themselves out.
