He's not a dominating kind of player. That's good in the sense that he complements and doesn't block out the brilliance of his teammates while actually helping them be more influential. However he doesn't impose himself on a game and I feel like that is what'll keep him from being a truly "special" player in the long term.

Hopefully Scolari never takes him away from the centre again, Brazil don't have anyone who can run the show as well as he can when he gets going. He can be so good that he'll be invisible for a half and then be the whole reason a team scores a bundle of goals in the 2nd half. I can't wait to see him start bossin' for Chelsea.

This kid is always everywhere. Can't wait for Chelsea next season. He'll be the main player for Champions League and the Premier

I concur what barnuck and donadres said. He is an impact player, not a maestro. BUT FUCK ME, HE IS SO GOOD.

He works infinitely harder than a lot of AMs, especially for a Brazilian, that's one of the things I really like about him. Mourinho will love the fuck out of this kid I can tell you that.

He played over 70 games this season. He is fucked. I can't imagine him running anymore. Mourinho will make sure this kid doesn't make it to the World Cup on two legs. He is, however, a very in and out of the game type of player. He doesn't dominate, similar to Ozil, unlike Zidane/Iniesta, and that is part of his talent. He appears out of no where and either scores or assists. He is the sick drop to a dope beat.

Zidane and Iniesta spent too much time on the ball, Oscar doesn't. Others know much better than me for sure as they have watched him more than I did but this is from what I have seen. He is a much better goal scorer than Iniesta too so in that regard he is closer to Zizou? He does play further up the pitch than Iniesta and closer to Zidane. But really, the details are too minor there.

Me too, but the thing is that is mainly consistent. Hopefully this is his only bad game for the whole tournament.

Yes, he has been impressive these past few months for Brazil (haven't followed Brazil for the whole season). And so young still, too. I expect we'll see great things for him in the future.
