Very harsh from Koeman, Marca explained what happened and looking at the replay its true, there is no reason for Koeman to have exploaded the eay he did.
Mingueza did a nutmeg on Kubo and started a counter he was moving up and thats when koeman exploaded.

Bit harsh on Mingueza and wasn't very classy by Koeman either. I'm not entirely sure Pique et al would receive the same treatment when he is liberal with bursting forward.

I'm sure everything will be fine and he'll back in the team Sunday.

Koeman caught in the heat of the moment and panicked because the score was 3-2. The play from Mingueza was great with a neat nutmeg and a forward pass to Messi. The thing with 3 at the back is that the lateral center backs can join the attacks. Koeman too proud to admit his mistake. Maybe Mingueza shouted something nasty back to him idk, he looked apologetic after being subbed off.

He looked confused and wondered what the problem was? Got no explanation on the spot. No matter the mistake, bringing on Umtiti is a bigger risk than him staying on.

Koeman was being a dick. He says f all to the likes of Roberto or Busquets yet bullies youngsters to show dominance.
Tough love is fine but dont overdo it.

If he brought on Puig for Mingueza. You would be clearing out the entire stock of Tintin bobbleheads.

He was angry at Trincao and took it out on Mingueza. He then refused to shake Mingueza hand after he had accepted Riqui Puig's belly rub.

They will most likely talk it out after this game. We will know soon enough anyway when we play Villareal.

Still harsh though. The least he could do was accept his handshake imo.

To me it looked like Mingueza stopped running because someone was yelling from the bench. Look at the video, looks like Mingueza turns in frustration and ends his run. It didn't look like he wanted to stop running.

You're welcome
Thought Koeman was pissed off at Trincao for playing that overcomplicated pass looking for Messi even though he was running at goal being 1 on 1 with keeper.

So they instructed him to stay back and not get countered.
Still overreacted though.
