Arrived to the training facility 7 minutes late this morning and was seen holding his phone while driving.

Say it was only 7 minutes all you want, but with his history and situation at the club he should be showing up 5 minutes early every morning.

Clown still doesn't get it. Bin ASAP.

I do agree that Dembele is acting unprofessionally lately but this tweet above is just way too much. It says: "Dembele arrived late to the training center this morning carrying his phone while driving endangering innocent lives"

The media in Barcelona is clearly trying to pressure him to leave. I cant imagine it will be too good for him to stay as everything he does will be put under the microscope.

I don't like Dembele that much after his latest injury, but that twitter is fake news.

It says that Dembele arrived at 9:07 AM (Go to the tenth second on that tweet to verify the time).

According to the official Barcelona website, training on Thursday started at 9:30 AM

I'd say he's pretty well on time.

If Dembele really does want to stay, He should start being more professional and justify why Barca paid so much for him in the first place. Like not even bothering to tell the club about your injury, he's 22 and expects to be babysat.

Not really. The training time is when the actual training starts, that’s different from when you’re supposed to arrive.

Is that how it works? Seems weird that if you are on the pitch ready for training before training starts you are considered late.

Would a club ever fine if you are on time for training but arrive later than the supposed arrival time?

I’m not sure exactly how it works but there is probably a separate arrival time and training time because there’s various things that players do before the actual training starts.

I really don't understand how people can get so angry if a player doesn't just agree to everything the club wants to do with him. If he doesn't want to get loaned/sold to PSG it's his decision and the club can't force him. Same with Coutinho. Just because they underperformed that doesn't mean they owe the club to do be part of whatever player swap they might have in mind.

I wouldn't say it's anger, more disbelief. The guy can't even pass a ball at the moment, he's got worse since he joined 2 years ago. Now he thinks he can stay and prove the doubters wrong, but in reality he will still live an unprofessional lifestyle and carry on being shit in games. Him going to Paris would actually make sense for both parties.

We're not angry with him wanting to stay. We just want him to show that same desire on the pitch. Like shut us up with your performance.
Its been 2 years and we can't even get Dembele to perform at the level of when he was Dortmund, never mind reaching the next level.
