Dembele can't be a fan favourite because he acted unprofessionally all those years, probably a big factor of the injuries he sustained also. And after all the dissapointments he had the nerve to try and force the club's hand with some ludicrous demands. He never won us anything, wasn't clutch when in matters and clearly doesn't give a fuck about this club. So let's not pretend that the fans hate him because he is a Barto signing.

Dembele improved this season with regular game time, more trust and no injuries. He has reached prime age and a clear as day ceiling. He is not bad. He has great speed and occasionally great dribbling and crossing. He has a high number of bad turnovers for his attacking output, a strange inconsistency with every aspect of the game and not the greatest football iq.
You can argue as much as you want for any side of this debate, but these things define him.
And ofcourse, he will never be one of the top tier players (aka Messi, CR, MBapee, halland, KDB, Salah, etc..) but is still miles better than ferran Torres and the likes.

Just laughing at these losers thinking life depends on the WC winner and what opinions you post on a Footy forum. This is what happens with average people and that's why they don't get rich.
So basic that their life depends on what Footballer wins a cup. Makes sense that these guys think that the number of posts a poster makes decides the time they spend on a forum. Some people just think faster and know more lmao.

Coman was fucking nonexistant for a good 40minutes before the dimaria substitution + otamendi giving away a stupid penalty.
Giroud has been one of France's best players and was also hauled off, nothing changed. Giving away a soft penalty in that way can happen so this vitorial directed at him is more hilarious.
Frankly people expect way too much or are too stupid to realise that wingers like Neymar and Messi don't come around very often and even if they did we wouldn't be able to afford them.
My favourite posters though by far though are the ones that still bring up the Liverpool defeat because they're genuinely the dumbest and most moronic with the least understanding of even the basics of football.
A singular miss in a 5 minutes spell when leading 3-0 over a 180+ minute is not the reason we lost. Dumb fucks.

Dropping a stinker in a World Cup final that your team loses is a mark that only the players with elite mentality can recover, I doubt Dembele has what it takes to comeback.
