I do agree the pull isn't what it used to be.

Nah it goes from situation last summer to situation this when it could be harder to attract players if there is yet more European failure and at a club where finances not great.

It isnt dramatic.

The transfer market has changed dramatically in recent years and a Barca who are not competitive def are not as appealin as are if winning.

Applies to all clubs not just Barca and Barca not immune from it.

Lot of players will still fancy it.

I said last summer Barca were spending money and the promise of being competitive in CL and league.

If they fail on that and have year of european failure x2 that argument doesnt sit as well and with less money to change things.

My 'hot take' was on Haaland not wanting to go to Barca when had just about every top club after him and it not being as 'couldnt afford him' as Barca tried to make out.

Same for Tchouameni.. far better options.
