I disagree with what you said Potroh. Players should respect the authority of the ref. More often than less, games where ref didn't impose his authority, players went ape shit with their tackles and aggression. Of course such games end up with 4 5 red cards, but it happens waaaay after the fact.

Dont wanna dwell on the morality grounds as to why I disagree with you. Anyway, there is no justification to verbally abuse the ref or even throw evaluative remarks regarding his performances.. Don't wave the *heat of the moment* card because I have seen women play in the world cup and they threw fewer tantrums - if any at all -. If à player cannot control himself that is his problem, and sport psychologists - working at the club and in general- should come up with the practical solutions.

We are evolving, and the last thing we need to address a problematic issue is by "justifying" it, or worse yet "adapting to it" as you suggested.

Having said all of this. Lahoz does have a punchable face.
Lahoz deserves it though. He is always out to get players who question his authority after he makes bad calls.
He has that howard webb vibe of making a match all about himself.

Ronaldo once asked him if he likes his balls and he didnt say shit.
Its no wonder he gers extra pedantic when a classico is a few matches away.
The first red was a dive and players rightfully protested the Lahoz show.
Like a teacher unable to keep control he picks the easiest target who probably said the least worse things, the young black kid with his arms waving. It was a total ‘YOU dobt say anything to me “ anger filled red to keep the rest from protesting further.
He should be a segunda ref at best not in big matches and cl.

Official: Lahoz has noted the following in his referee report regarding Dembélé's red card - He told me that I'm 'very bad, very very very bad, while gesturing with his arms'.

Big fucking deal Lahoz u ratbag, he is lucky Pinto wasn't around.

He's lucky he isn't in Sparta.

This is exactly what happened, he just picked on dembele and it seems they’ll let this rubbish slide.

Valverde: "Dembélé's red card? It's very difficult for Dembélé to say sentences in Spanish."

 So after 2,5 years this idiot still hast learned Spanish? What a f... moron! No words anymore for this brainless player.

More like no words for racists like you. Happy he played well again yesterday, that must hurt a lot.

Apparently he said "you are very bad" to the ref, and got a straight red for that. Somehow this isn't even a top 3 most fucked up thing he did to barca, pretty much after every barca match, people talk about him the most, he has done some massive bs against barca, this cunt and Hernandez^2 should never officiate a barca game, get those female refs or whatever, will be 100% times better than these idiots.

At one point he's finishing like prime Henry, on another he's finishing like he's not an outfield player.

Either 100 or 0, so inconsistent. Very much an ousmane dembele performance. Just wish his perfect moments were a lot more frequent than whatever the hell he was doing in the second half...

Red card obviously not his fault.

I'm the first to say Dembele is an idiot, but this time it is on Lahoz... I can bet Suárez, Piqué and Messi all said way worse things than Ousmane, but Lahoz being a pussy decided to be a "big man" with the french...

Both the ref report and video evidence show he just said: "You are very bad", which we know is nothing compared to what other players say on the pitch...

Let's also not forget how much institutional racism there remains in the country as well. Lahoz is a cancer

No chance he deserved to be sent off but truth is, on balance, I remain frustrated with the player. For all the positives he was a part of early, they were outnumbered by the very poor if not naive decisions he made for the rest of the match. Team was well in front in terms of the scoreline but he failed to build on the momentum & instead make unintelligent decisions. I still see a player that flatters to deceive despite flashes of brilliance - at this point he has to improve to even get to the level of early Quaresma

Yeah man just respect the ref, don't dive, always smile, and give you club a losing record because most decisions will not go your way, that's just what happens if you don't overexaggerate every single faul, this problem is not fixable, if you can't take some heat from the players, what in the fuck are you doing being a referee.

I am sure De Jong already speaks better Spanish than Dembele.

How the fuck does he even communicate with his teammates and Valverde? This guy probably starts every game without knowing what his duties on the pitch and game tactics are. Can't believe anyone can spend 2,5 years in Spain without improving his language skills at all. Even if you don't learn it actively in 2,5 years you should be able to communicate in Spanish without any problem. Unfortunately this is just a proof his IQ is bellow average.

Regarding yesterdays game he had an excellent first half and not so great second. He lacks consistency but considering his injury record that's understandable.

Well, he could have said something even worse to Lahoz if he would speak Spanish better.

Running out of patience with this dude. Lahoz is a busch league ref for sure and was a pretty clear flex, which from a ref, is unacceptable and I agree this had a racist, bully-like twinge of picking on the young black guy to it.

It still doesn’t change the fact that Ousmane still has to take responsibility for this. He’s yet to really have a real run in this team since he’s been here and now was a great time for him to get that look. Now, he’s out for two more matches and loses match rhythm yet again. I hear all this stuff in the press and players about “how hard he’s working, his dedication” blah blah blah but moments like this and him clearly not taking care of his body, the tardiness at training, all of this indicates otherwise. A kid in his situation and how he’s been playing really needs to at the very least demonstrate professionalism and he simply doesn’t. And this is just off the field.

On the field, he is chaotic and reckless. He dribbles into alleys and danger way too frequently, he tries to go alone instead of linking up with his teammates more and his passing is very inaccurate. His goal came off of a transition from a turnover, I think with the time and space he had, just about any of our forwards would have scored in his position. He had a much easier chance to convert in the 2nd half and his finish was just lulz, blasted it into row Z. It’s a shame really, everyone can see the raw talent: the dribbling ability, the pace, the dynamism but his lack of composure, intelligence and professionalism I think is going to prevent him from being the player he could be.

I’m sure if we had a better coach, he might be better developed but even still I’m skeptical about that. Especially as a forward, you have to have a lot of intelligence or just raw instincts so keen that it can blend into our system and I just don’t think he has either. His natural characteristics as a player suit a counter attacking team more in a lot of the same ways Frankie suits us and I just don’t see enough development of his understanding of the positional aspects our play for him to be someone we can count on long term.

I say he either shows something this season or he, along with Rakitic, need to be shown the door. Plain and simple. I know this seems like a bash but I’ve been very patient with my judgements of him and I’ve really wanted this to work but this game combined with his game against Bilbao really worry me.

Why are we so sure that his Spanish skills are so bad though - not like Valverde is known to be someone who speaks truth all the time! He's a crooked fuck himself

Lol at the people complaining about language! Pretty sure augero has been in England for over 8 years and can barely speak toddler level English... Can you stop being retarded fucks bringing bullshit into you triads of diahorreah. It's clear he has issues with his play but his athleticism is needed and has been critical in helojg provide space for our other forwards.
