Will he be available for El Clasico?
Lol at the people complaining about language! Pretty sure augero has been in England for over 8 years and can barely speak toddler level English... Can you stop being retarded fucks bringing bullshit into you triads of diahorreah. It's clear he has issues with his play but his athleticism is needed and has been critical in helojg provide space for our other forwards.
Shocking comparison.
Augero is a Man City legend and one of the best PL strikers of all-time. As long as he keeps filling the net of course nobody will be arsed what's coming out of his mouth.
If you are a highly touted, big money player that been struggling at a club for years now, is constantly injured and have failed to adapt to your new country and locker room according to multiple reports and accounts from your team mates themselves, then yes, you better believe people are going to key in on all your struggles off the pitch and adaptation problems.
Either produce the goods or if you can't the least you should be doing is making sure you are making decisions that puts yourself in the best possible position to succeed. Dembele has done neither so he deserves most of the criticism coming his way.
What? it's a perfect comparison to highlight the absurdity of using language to wttack a players playing iq...
Criticisms outside his performances/football are as stupid as the people doing so.
The only criticism he deserves is related to his job, you know... football anything outside that is petty and childish.
And before you retort, clearly speaking a language fluently isn't a requirement of being able to play good football...
Good, because it proves he can already speak this much Spanish.
Otherwise the entire press and stats says he played quite well (hi BBZ) it's just this partially brain-dead forum which doesn't stop bashing him, really regardless of what he does and how he plays.
I can see people in his thread who almost never ever post, but when Dembele plays they always stop by to spit some wet drivel on the guy.
Suarez scored a beautiful goal, but that was all, he didn't do anything too useful apart from that, Messi lost and gave away the ball more times than Dembele did, but these kind folks always have the urge to say disgusting stuff.
Messi comes back from injury, he plays quite bad in the 1st half, so people say he needs time. True.
Dembele comes back from injury, plays even less than Messi does and people are vomiting blood on him. Objective community...
Well... boiling blood doesn't easily convert to water...
Messi to referee Mateu Lahoz when Dembélé was shown a red card on Sunday: "What did he say? He can't speak, he can't speak!"
His job is also to learn Spanish so he can communicate with his teammates and coach. No one can deny the fact that being able to communicate with your teammates and manager helps you to integrate much faster. Can you imagine how stupid does he feel when his teammates are talking about tactics or even something unrelated to football and he remains quiet all of the time?! Sometimes you also need to communicate on the field during the game to be able to react fast and that's impossible for him. It's 10 times harder to play and live like that. He is an idiot for not giving any effort to make his life easier.
I agree with Raketa. If it's not even to speak then comprehension is a must. Being able to listen and understand is crucial, speaking not so much.
Also keep in mind not only is it his job, he has it easier than the common person trying to learn a new language. He can hire a full time private language instructor and he has way more free time to practice. Plus he lives in a country where the language is spoken everywhere. Also Spanish is easy to learn especially if you come from a romance language background. French not so much but even then Catalan is an option too.
Part of your job is to play football just as it is to understand your teammates, coaches, officials & fans
- you can't speak the local language then there's a big problem. Being French should make matters far easier than for most outsiders since both are romance languages based on latin.
He's young but more than 2 years, the majority of the time off the pitch means he has no excuse not to have learned the language. Overall, kid has repeatedly shown poor discipline for a professional footballer. Might work at other clubs but at the biggest, not in this era

More like no words for racists like you. Happy he played well again yesterday, that must hurt a lot.
Nice try with the latin origin.
Unfortunately language skills don't work that way.
