Not it's really not. He looked sad. No?

You are probably right. With all the troubles last season he most likely prepared well this pre season. He got injured right away though when this season started. Now he was finally back and gaining some form. Yesterday he start against his former team in a important CL match in the Camp Nou and baam, hes injured again.
Off course he is devestated.

Yep.

You've gotta be a special kind of stupid to believe this guy is anything but devastated right now. Even Valverde who usually doesn't say a lot said that Dembele's been working hard and doing very well in training lately.

Some players really can't do anything about it as their bodies are made of glass. With Démbéle I advise you to watch the interview with Démbéle's neighbor when he was living in Klopp's house. Then consider how he missed training sessions right away the moment he arrived at Barca, fired his personal nutrisionist, forgot his passport during an away trip etc.

Not hard to imagine his lifestyle choices and what it means for his body. Even as an amateur lifter in the gym you notice right away if you haven't slept or eaten well. This is a pro athlete.

I'm aware, but that is a topic where i think it doesn't make any sense to "imagine" the impact lifestyle etc might have. Again, do i think Dembele is the most professional player? Absolutely not. Would it help recovering or prevent injuries? Maybe. But some people claim it's only/mainly because of his behavior and imo that just doesn't make any sense because there is simply no way for us to know that.

Some players are just fucked and once the injuries start they can't get rid of him, i doubt it's that easy that a small change of lifestyle would suddenly fix all his injury problems. Dembele should still do that and tbh i don't understand how some professional football players live less healthy than your average gymbro but i wouldn't go as far as claiming that's the reason he gets injured a lot because i've seen too many players that had similar problems without any stories of eating McDonalds or staying up late.

Yet many believe that he is not it seems. Or don't understand that he has been working and it's evident from his reaction.

It's ironically the same people who go around and trash other posters for speaking ill of our other players. Just hypocrisy everywhere here.

It’s just unfortunate we had to wait till he’s worth so little now. Many knew we needed to sell him last year.

Doesn't seem like he wanted to move anyways. He is getting a nice salary at Barca that he likely won't get at another European club. Wouldn't be surprised if he insisted on staying here till his contract expires.

And really no excuse when he can hire someone to cook for him, someone to train and rehab, and someone to track his nutrition outside of the club. He can literally have a team of people to make sure his chances of getting injured are lowered and perform optimally physically.

Look even if he started to take care of himself it will take time for his body to recognize that. It's not like you can do things wrong for so many years and than after two months of responsible life everything will be ok. It takes time to change habits but it takes even more time to see benefits of that. If he indeed changed his way of life his injuries will probably stop happening in one moment but no one can tell when will that happen.

One thing is certain, he is injured again so he will either break or emerge even stronger from this. IMHO he will always be an injury prone player but there are ways to reduce number of injuries. Biggest challenge here is that you have to stay strong in your head and you have to be 100% determined to succeed. I am not sure if he is capable of that but there is always hope.

Pure boolshit.
As he has never been an injury-prone player before Barca, it not just certain but SURE that either the gym exercises or the training exercises contain "something", some wrong elements at the wrong places that doesn't fit his particular body, muscular buildup.
Nutrition and sleeping with his friends have nothing to do with these injuries, as probably he used to be on the same diet before joining Barca and never getting injured.
