Having him on the team is wasting a spot. Not because he's a bad player, but because he's so unreliable health-wise. He's somehow worse than Vermaelen.

Of course he doesn't want to leave, i mean why should he? It's not like he got replaced and is rotting on the bench, he's injured.

He either stays healthy for once what would give him a decent chance to compete for a starting spot at Barca or he get's injured again...but being injured for a worse team with lower salary wouldn't be any better so he has nothing to gain from a move to another club.
