Huesca. Bilbao. Granada. 3 away games within 7 days. That's insane.
He looked tired and I can't blame him. This schedule is tough for every player and even more for him. After being injured for 3 years he never got game rhythm. You only get this through games.

He was obviously lacking the necessary freshness in his legs and was not that shiny, but given the circumstances he did well and played smart. Much more mature than in previous years.

Good point, but he was literally dropping his shoulder and dribbling straight towards a defender like several times throughout the match. Fatigue is definitely there, but the "sloppiness" he showed especially with his dribbling was just the typical decision making errors he's prone to making.

His crosses are fucking useless lmao

The common issue throughout the entire match was lack of spatial awareness. Doesn't know where his opponents are when he dribbles, so ends up dribbling straight towards the defender. Receives a pass and let's it come to him when there's a player RIGHT behind him, so the pass is easily intercepted. Space open for a run in order to make a through ball, but stays behind and waits for the ball to come to him and a 1 on 1 opportunity is lost. Kicks and runs with the ball and just shoots inside the area without trying to look up and checking where the runs are going, as a result the crosses go straight to the defender. I know he's an instinctive player but this is just ridiculous.

It's weird because he shows exceptional ability at vision and creating at times, but then he has matches like this where he doesn't even resemble a professional football player. This is also why i think he will never be a reliable finisher and consistent player, his awareness during the game is just way too erratic and inconsistent. Exceptional talent with exceptional inconsistency.

Displayed his worst tendencies today. Tunnel vision, low workrate, "knock and run" type of blind dribbling. I think he played better in the first half though. It looks the penalty frustrated him emotionally as he received a yellow for complaining and was poor/too agressive afterwards,
