It is time to shine.
I would like to sell him for someone better but there is no real targets that Barca can bring this summer considering corona shit and debt.
In future I would like to sell him (after he extends his contract), for Sancho or someone like that who is much better on the ball.
But again he is our only fast player that can run behind defensive line, he is worth of being in squad.

Honestly we shouldn't extend him unless he agrees to a pay cut.
Don't think any other team is going to match his current salary anyway.

He won't extend for less as he would get what he has now + big fat signing bonus at another club easily.
Also, if he doesn't get top money now when will he? When he's over 30?
My take is that if we play hardball with him, he will just not extend and leave for free.

If he does that he'll risk not playing much next season which will destroy his chances to make the 2022 World Cup Squad for France when he's finally back in the NT.
Like wasting all chances he has and running into blind alleys.

Some talk about that they'll only offer Dembele a renewal with a lower salary than he currently makes. Might be some bonuses added based on goals and such.
If he doesn't agree they'll sell him with Bryan Gil being the main target to replace him. No clue how good Gil is tbh.
