Not much fantasy in it. We will depend on Fati whether you like it or not. And if theres one transfer in (apart from Garcia) it will be a striker. That much is 99% certain. And Dembele may not have it all figured out, but Coutinho and Griezmann are even worse. The latter depends on the future of Messi though.

that would be more like - dembele/fati - striker - messi being our offensive core.

To me it seems that Dembele may be no as fragile as he used to be injurywise, but i think he lost some stuff that made him great, he plays to careful now. Very rarely he tries to beat an opponent, too often he runs fast with space advantage on the wing, but then instead of trying something he too often turns around and kicks the ball back into the space before the box. I mean wasn't that the reason we got him as Neymar replacement? Somebody that tries stuff with his speed and also is allowed to fail when doing it? I mean nobody expects a player that beats his opponent everytime or perfeclty crosses everytime, we already got Griezmann who never beats his opponent. It seems like Dembouz lost his teeth and his finishing got really bad. Maybe the whole "grow up thing" and outside pressure made him worse a player, just speculating. Even after all the injuries in the last 4 years i was still thinking that he could bring something spectacular when he stays fit longer, now it seems that he looses his weapons while beeing fit.

He will not leave , Laporta rates him.

He is not the best , but after contract extension and good season he could have good resell value.

His contract ends in 2022 , which does not give Barca to much leverage.
