Dont mind his finishing as much as his stupid decisions on ball in build up and lack of ability at times to make simple control or pass of ball.

Think his finishing is all or nothing often as tries to smash ball but flip side is he does have some good finishes also.

Injuries definitely get taken into consideration when renegotiating a contract their is a reason why D.cousins in on a 10 day contract now with the Clippers, when he was on a 100m+ contract a few years ago.

There is a reason why NFL players outside of the quarterback don't get paid what they deserve, it's a dangerous sport, you are likey to get injured, why would the team invest x more dollars in you than they should.

So his injury record will & should be taken into consideration when he sits at the table.

All that being said, I would renew him for what he is on now, gonna be difficult for us to negotiate a paycut, he is in the last year of his contract, he will just wait it out & leave on a free, at least if we renew we can get something for him, if he continues to play relatively well, though below all our expectations.( Expect total football 😂).
