Just play him, what's the worst thing that can happen? He gets injured?
Not our problem then. If he was a project player like Ilaix and we had a few other talents in line I wouldn't mind the stands. But we have not. At least milk the last few drops of value from this horrible, horrible transfer.I still think it's not unlikely that he will renew though. But a 2+1 year deal (as rumored) or something like that is probably a major turn off for him
No wonder he wants to keep his options open. I just hope Laporta doesn't cave in and gives him a longer deal. That's the only questionable/bad outcome for me in his case.

I'll be surprised if he signs with a low base salary, cause many other clubs would be on the market for him.

Yeah because he is a pure class. He is very consistent, tactically responsible and never injured. In addition, he is great in 1 on 1 situations under pressure. Who wouldn't want to have him on a big salary?

Manchester United are willing to give Ousmane Demb?l? a large pay bump and signing on fee if he leaves Barcelona for free at the end of the season. Bar?a have given him until the ens of October to accept the renewal. If he doesn?t, he will watch football from the stands this season. Dembele is fine with this proposition

Unfortunately it is in December. So he still has pre-season and the start of the season at another club to find form and fitness.
