Makes sense that no big club is willing to pay for Dembele millions of euros as his contract runs out.
It's a double loss for both Barca and Dembele himself, who will be out of match fitness when the summer transfer window arrives. The board made it clear he is frozen asset and Xavi is following this policy and is unlikely to back down and feature him in games, unless we are desperately way back in the top 4 race.

Makes no sense to put him in stands rather than offer him to go for free if likes of Chelsea/PSG are interested.

Deal might be done 99%, but for summer and not now. Can imagine him going there with Tuchel being his coach. Not all of Pulisic, Werner and Ziyech will stay beyond summer, so it makes a lot of sense for Chelsea. They are a boring side too, so they need the spectacular player Tuchel believes Dembele can be.
Just don't know how Dembele endures there for long without injuries.
