However, Yamal has a higher ceiling than Dembele, he already plays so maturely and makes good decisions, it took Dembele so long to get to where he is now, and should take Yamal a shorter time.

So i get Birdy's point, you don't see Dembele skying shots anyhow anymore in Uber eats league, or UCL, and this doesn't negate the fact that Yamal has a higher ceiling.

PS, i never believed Dembele would be scoring a hat-trick in 2 back to back games, if he could make a turn around albeit late at 27, then anyone willing can. I think even Raphinha made a turnaround and has been top 3 or 2 right now in the world (coming from a season where some Barca fans wanted Nico to replace him), but I never saw Dembele doing that after watching much of his wild finishes here.

Don’t see the need to drag Leo into this to hype up Dembele. Everyone and their mother could see Leo had zero motivation at PSG and he hated being in Paris, even more having to please insecure narcissists like Mbappe. It was all just a part of the keep sharp and in shape for the WC plan, which luckily worked out. PSG and Ronald McDonald league meant literally nothing to him. This is based on his own comments, btw. He only cared about winning the WC at that stage of his career, ever since, he just plays for fun.

I would love to see Dembele's European Golden Boot if you want Messi's comparison that much.

I would never trade Lamine for Dembele, because the first is still 17yrs old and has a higher ceiling, and is a La Masia product.
Plus, aesthetically, as I explained above, Lamine is above all

That said, their effectiveness is pretty measurable:
The last 2 seasons, Lamine has 0.58 non-pen goals and assists per 90 minutes, while Dembele has 0.75
Lamine has 0.58 non-p xG + xA per 90min, Dembele has 0.77

So Dembele is more effective for now, whether haters like it or not.
You can fantasize whatever you like about Dembele to channel your inner hate.
Truth is there though

Can you compare their G+A in MAJOR TOURNAMENTS FOR THEIR OWN COUNTRIES. That's where the real men talk.
