he just doesnt seem like a very technical player to me. hes not very fast or tall either, he can finish but thats pretty much it

He barely got the ball, even when he made runs and was in a decent position.

I still have a bad feeling about this transfer - maybe not Vidal bad, but bad nevertheless. Shouldn't have been bought, lacks much in the technical department to be a Barca player.

He hasn't had a chance to demonstrate his technical qualities though. Everyone tried to be a hero and do everything by themselves instead of passing the ball to him.

One of his strengths is actually his link-up play.

30m though. For that amount we couldve lured Correa from atleti. That guy has it all and can play all the positions upfront.

Still waiting for him to prove how significant an upgrade he is over Munir.

I have a feeling I shall be waiting for quite some time.

Anyways, Munir should've stayed. He will start showing it from tomorrow and at least outdo Paco's Giroudian numbers from last season, 13 goals in 40 games. Paco was too expensive, will take a long time to adapt, yet will never knock off Suárez anyways and leave at some point for half the fee.

And in the end what was truly needed most was a wide attacking dribbler to help break down those deep blocks that routinely cause problems for Barcelona, like last night

What was needed was a tall mobile brute who could knock down crosses , hold up the ball for MSN, and score a few headers Mandzukic comes to mind.

That was... horrible. Just a terrible, terrible game from him. Munir did much better when he played for us. Even Sandro was better for us. I don't remember Paco doing a single good thing in this match. I bet he didn't even sweat after the game. He just stood there. Also, when he was not standing in the attack the defenders were still standing in the same possitions. Meaning that he never even pulled them away from other players. Totally stopped our attack.

Being a striker at Barcelona sounds easy because you have good players around you, but it's actually quite hard because of adapting to the style of play and lack of space because teams defend deep all the time
