Paco Alcácer

Not nearly as bad as Paco. Gomes at least showed something in his prior appearances. Paco brings nothing to the team himself.

Sure, but Gomes also recieved the ball much more in midfield, he was bound to show some quality. He was still very bad though, but has had two solid performances now. Paco deserves a couple of more chances, hopefully his off the ball movement improves somewhat just by training with the team.

I really hope he starts agains Malaga! He will play alongside Messi and Neymar and I bet he will finally score!

No bullshit, Sandro is more likely to score a hat trick on us than Paco is to score one on them.

I know you hate him but we need to give him a chance. Now is the perfect time. Not so strong opponent and we play at home, a perfect time to prove you wrong

It's been 3 months since Paco joined us on the deadline day and he's not even made a pre-season with us, his time will come.

Let's just hope that the Spaniard takes his chance against Málaga after international break.

Well, I'm not as optimistic about Paco as you are. He didn't fit our team when the rumour started, he doesn't fit the team now and he won't ever be a fit for Barca. Another enigma of a signing, especially since Munir was improving and fitting right in - he didn't score many goals, but most of us saw how he was connecting with the team.

What is possible is that Barcelona and Valencia have some sort of agreement where Barca has to buy a player every so often.

What's all the fuss about? His overall play has already improved significantly, just can't finish for shit. Give him time and the goals will come.

His overall play is the same as it always has been. The only reason he got more chances to score (All of them went wasted) in his last appearance is because the team was bending over backwards to give him a goal. I wouldn't even be surprised to see Messi give him the penalty if we get one and have already secured the win against Malaga.

And the team has been bending over backwards for many players(Suarez, Messi, Neymar) to give them goals. Why are you acting like it's a bad thing? When he get his first goal in, a lot of the pressure will go away. Hasn't he also hit the post like 4 times already? Not to mention the incredible saves goalkeepers have been making on his shots.

The team bends over backwards to give goals to the three players who score the vast majority of our goals? How insightful.

It's not a bad thing but it's worth noting, we could have scored many more goals, but the team wanted Paco specifically to score. In a situation where Paco is actually needed to perform and the entire team isn't playing specifically for him, he's going to vanish just as he always has. He sticks himself in the middle of both CBs and stays there for the entire game, he doesn't have any linkup play with his teammates and he doesn't defend nearly as much as any one of MSN.

Lucho has announced that he will play from start against Malaga. Not a big surprise, but I really hope that he fights hard and plays well :)
