If he hadn't scored against such a poor side, the psychological effect on him would be awful. He already had good chances, but was always hitting the post or missing. Now he dropped a monkey off his back, and may improve further.

There is no 'fuzz'. Nobody is claiming that he'll finally kick into gear for us. We are simply saying that, given his poor season so far, it is a good thing that he finally scored. Nothing else.
