Never worth that much of money.. I wouldn't mind Pogba in Barca but not for that kind of money.. Good luck in United though..

Mou, England, Pizza Boy & United make for quite a bit of hyperbole. Pogba is excellent but nowhere near a great, yet. I have little confidence that Mou can maximize his potential but perhaps get him to be more disciplined/focused rather than drifting in/out of games - although that impact did nothing for a certain rotten apple

I dunno. Look at the goal return Lampard produced with more limited talent after moving to a Mourinho team.

this transfer like a reminder to me how the time flows... £32 million for Overmars we paid, if Pogba is exist as he now that time, he might be 15m only.

Do we remember even Mou actually improving any of the players after they played with Wenger? Other than the rotten apple that is

Definitely looks like he wanted to be here in that recent interview, those formulative years must have had a big impact never expected him to be so nervous either. Both Sky and Guardian are reporting he had personal offers from Madrid. Guardian especially saying Zidane been trying for months, getting him to follow in his footsteps but they arent as reliable as they used to be. Pressure is going to be ridiculous think he needs a bit of time for sure Mourinho needs to be careful with him.

Yeah Real were definitely lurking around, and Zidane is a huge admirer but the fact that they could't sell of James worked in our favour hugely.

Wow according to some reports Juve will only receive 72m euros from the deal, is this normal, do clubs usually only receive 70% of the fee when they sell players because if so I'm surprised Juve just didn't reject the deal.

Looks like they paid Raiolas fee + Pogbas bonus (apparently a house ) + solidarity contribution to Le Havre/Us/Roissy-en-brie. Wouldn't suprise me if they factored it all into the transfer making him cost so much, had the benefit of giving us a world record too for the commercial side of things.

Pretty funny looking back at the 145m figure that was everywhere for a while.

I know I was expecting the net costs to be more of about 130m. Thats such a bad deal for Juve considering they just spent 94m on Higuain, and Raiolas fee is crazy, on the Ronaldo transfer to Real Mendes made 5m, 25m is a crazy fee, agents are really taking the piss now.

While we dont know exactly what it is, the guys "in the know" was speaking about it being a % of the transfer fee they agreed to pay him when he joined Juventus on a free. Thats why they are paying it and not us (at least technically). Sounds quite a bit different to a normal fee like for Hazard.

By sounds of it they are paying more for Hig than they gained on Pogba... but they are probably a better team if you take there signings as a whole. What i dont like about that signing though is they just fucked over Serie A, and the competition is already shit as it is. Just swoop in and do a Bayern on them. And they wonder why Pogba wanted out, our team might not be the best yet but having to compete every single match should push him further naturally and if he ever does win a title here it would be properly earned.

Yep that's the difference between PL and the La Liga compared to the other leagues, neither Atletico/Spurs//Leicester have allowed other clubs from the same league to dismantle their teams totally yet. The ironic thing about buying Higuain is that Juve would've probably succeeded in winning the league without him.

Jamie always objective Redknapp thinks Dele ali will be better than Pogba because he has never seen him "dink it" over someones head and volley it in. Oh man i seriously cant wait for the start of the season 3 more days.
