Definitely not as subdued as at the euros, always looking forward to pass or run and while Rooney drops deep. Would be better suited in Rooneys position though for sure, hes quality get him involved all the time not sparingly.

All i can really think about is the aforementioned physical presence in dropping deep, plus he is the captain and its Rooney... just frustrating when the team potential is higher without him on the pitch, was same last year too when he was injured and we played 4-3-3. Could play Pogba there and have two holding midfielders. Could have Mata there and play Mkhy on the right.

He did good. Especially playing his first match with a new team. Thing is, he would probably look totally out of place if it was his firat game for us, Real or Bayern - but since United overall suck and they don't really have an attacking strategy, any player of Ibra's or Pogba's caliber will make them play better. With this squad of decent and solid players + Pogba and Ibra + Mourinho's safe tactics = EPL title for sure.

Doesn't really matter if Lucho manages to get André Gomes and Denis going and polish them into something special, because we already got a system in place.

Pogba for 105m and god knows how much The Fat Rat got is not worth it. He got the potential to be among the top three midfielders in the World, arguably even the best if he gets a dose of discipline in his game and work on his flaws, but he won't ever become the best player in the World.

You pay that much money for a complete game changer. Perhaps Dybala in 3-4 years
