Ditto. I'm so fucking confused by the reactions here. The WC hype is really getting to people here. He's so inconsistent for United and his positioning issues are absolutely enormous. Do you guys United? Their midfield gets overrun almost all the time and he's big reason for it, the guy makes no attempts to press or cut off passing lanes. He's a terrible box to box midfielder and if we want him as an AM, Coutinho fits that role anyways. It's a useless transfer.
I'll admit he had an amazing WC performance but let's remember, WC football is of lower quality and much slower than league football; he was also in pretty much the most stacked team talent wise in the entire tournament. Don't buy into the WC. I'd at least wait until he replicates it in the EPL.
