Paul Pogba

It's clear if he becomes truly great he'll be out of United quickly. Don't remember the last world class player United had through the player's peak years except the few British ones like Rio Ferdinand. 1 good World Cup and here we are already, imagine Pogba actually managing an entire world class season at club level. He'll hand in a transfer request on the spot.

such offers are mearly chess-like moves.. it is a message to pogba :«we like you, we want you in the future». smart move if you ask me.

We really pulled the good old "and wait theres more! You also get Andre Gomes for free!" move again, sadly that one will never work.

Which transfer window is being observed here? The EPL closes on August 9th and La Liga on August 31st.

Both. It is a little messy but the best scenario is a deal is reached by Aug 9th. United will have to sign one of their midfield targets, Maguire or Milinkovic-Savic or both by Aug 9th. Then we can reach an offer for Pogba that includes Mina + cash only or with a 2nd player included.

If for some reason we don’t reach a deal for Pogba by the 9th and they still want to sell him to us then we have until the 31st. It will have to be little creative if they want to include Mina in the deal, he would have to go on loan till January window opens.

Barca will look quite decent with Pogba in the team.

Suarez

Coutinho----------------Messi

Arthur---Rakitic

Busquets

Alba---Umtiti-------Lenglet----Roberto

Ter Stegen

Cheers mate.

So in other words, EPL clubs can BUY by August 9th, while for La Liga clubs we can BUY until the 31st. Gotcha.

Plenty of time then! Do your thang Abidal, Umtiti and Dembele!

Few scenarios that might increase or decrease the likelihood of Pogba's arrival;

Increase:
1. We don't accept Mina's transfers.
2. United fails to sign a CB.
3. United signs a Midfielder(s).

Decrease:
1. We sell Mina.
2. United signs a CB.
3. United fails to sign a Midfielder.

Says Pogba won't come.

Says the offer of €50m + Gomes + Mina turned out to be fake as reported by Di Marzio

Would rather believe Di Marzio than Gerard Romero or Albert Roge who's good with La Masia, but knows fuck all about 1st team business.

But yes, it makes sense that Pogba won't come now as Man Utd don't have time to get a replacement.

Di Marzio has his fair share of bullshit thrown around tbf. At least when it comes to us, he has been wrong in the past transfer windows.

Let's see how these young guns develop over the course of this season before splashing another 150m on a player. Maybe next summer we'll let Rakitic go, hell, maybe even Vidal depending on how he behaves, and we have room for other mids, but right now Pogba is unnecessary.

This could have been more realistic if it was Mina+ Raki+50m

Raki value 50-60m (valued highly by Mourinho while Pogba disliked)
Mina value 30-40m (United have strong interest)

If this offer was presented earlier and Raki could consider a hefty contract improvement from United, it would have been more realistic.
