ffs I thought Paulinho would bench rakitic for El clasico, but I just found out he will sign his contract on Thursday

Please don't play that dead-horse Rakitic in El-Clascio. Isco/Asensio will run circles around him again

Rakitic is better than Paulinho i rather see Rakitic play than shit Paulinho anyways we already lost the match so it does not really matter who plays in the 2nd leg

meh, i'm in the state of acceptance right now. At least he has legs. Him and Roberto are the only midfielders we have who can cover the ground well.

Guess we're at the bargaining stage right now, depression is up next.

I'm in the denial phase. The transfer makes perfect sense. People were asking for Paulo Dybala and Coutinho; so the great Barto gave us a mix: Paulo + Coutinho = Paulinho. All hail Barto.

he earns 5 m euros net or with taxes? if he earns it with taxes, l don't see any problem.

l talked to some friends about him who regularly watch Brazil, All praised him and said he is one of the their best performer with national team.

5m net. 10m gross per year. 40m over 4 years. Plus bonuses.

This transfer is already poison no matter how good his performances can be and it's not his fault either as we were stupid enough to come to him and buy him for 40 million euros. The optics of this whole deal is terrible for the club.

We could lose Roberto due to all this. It's not a bad thing to have a player who has some muscle and energy for a Midfield option, problem is we have already have a surplus of B2B midfielders and Attacking Midfielders.

We need a creative/controlling Midfielders the most and I just don't get how adding Paulinho is going to solve that. and hypothetically if they are looking for a B2B Midfielder why Paulinho of all players? He turns 30 next year and wouldn't it have been more wiser to find a much younger talent?

by the time his contract is over, 40 million will look like pocket change though.
on positive side, we will have goal scoring midfielder who isn't afraid to try long ranges.
