Knew thats what you would say.

Not as long time ago as signings like Ramos and Marcelo you were praising though as if it fits that model of younger players and never players around 28.

Just picking and choosing transfers that suit.

Because it is so ridiculously rare for Madrid to sign 28 year olds. You keep bringing up players like Kaka and Illarramendi as some type of proof that they are just as bad as Barca in the marketplace which is laughable. No one has said that Madrid has made 100% amazing signings. Thats impossible. But compared to us they are on a different level, with both buying and selling. Anyone who is honest can see that.

Varane was signed for 10m euros. Asensio was signed for 5m euros.

We rely on the great La Masia generation of Iniesta, Pique, Messi, Busquets etc. Madrid rely on quality shrewd signings in the market. And yes, they are almost always younger than 25.

Yet their success was built more on the big fee signings than those players.

You choose signings from years ago then dismiss more recent ones who go against your ideas as too far back.

In terms of midfield Real have had better signings and argued years ago for Kroos ahead of Raki and that likes of Rafinha was rated too highly.

Who have they sold that puts them on a 'different level'?

Big fee signings can be quality signings as well. The thing is, where would we be without the great La Masia generation we rely on? Madrid has had to rely on their skills in the market to amass a great team. Now we must also try to be clever in the market. No more constant stream of incoming garbage for high fees and fat contracts.

Varane has like 200 games for RM. He is top 10 central defender in the world. WTF are you talking about.

No he isnt top ten at all. Varane has hardly progressed but is a good player.

Pepe and Ramos have been better for Real in recent times. Even though Pepe got old.

Whats so difficult to understand about RM not having a 100% perfect track record? You seem upset that people point out that overall, they've been far superior to us in the market, and then trying to bring up Kaka to disprove this. Ridiculous.

Have said a thousand times want a better midfield and argued for it at length and could see it coming.

Just dont agree that Real are brilliantly placed in comparison to Barca for the next few years despite having better depth at moment.

Anyone with a brain would have pushed hard for Kroos so thats nothing to boast about. 25m for a world class player is just stupid to miss out on. But it is a very typical RM transfer. Reports was that our coach at the time wasnt interested. No long term planning at all. Just focus on the wishes of the coach that year and change the coach after a season.

No I brought up Kaka and Xabi Alonso to go against your idea that Real have some policy of only signing young plyers under 25.

You pick and choose players to make a point. That is the relevance of Kaka and Alonso not to say Real have been shit in market.

Not difficult to understand.

Not boasting but showing I didnt agree with direction it was going and plenty people well into that first season were saying things like Raki better signing and Rafinha could be as good as Thiago.

Again. Not difficult to understand to anyone with a brain.

Imagine us without Messi, Busi, Iniesta and Pique. The La Masia generation. Scary to think about how we would end up relying on our skills in the marketplace like RM.

Dont need to imagine it. The signings have been with those players in the team.

They need to sign players to compliment them and just now in particular midfield needs improved.

So you have disagreed with one transfer out of 50 in the past few years is that what you are saying?

To not even be after Kroos when he was available is the height of stupidity. But it is typical of us.
