I think the figure was 40. And it's kinda true,he's downplaying Messi and Ronaldo to bring himself up tho. We'll see if he scores for fun in La Liga .

Easy to say in hindsight, but it's a shame we didn't get him in the summer and keep Denis too. It might of slowed Denis' development a bit, but we could of used him in January onward like Arda, and we've of spent the same money if slightly less, and half the salary. That said, not sure Dybala would'a been happy with a bit-part role, or waiting til January either.

Denis was an essential part of Rakitic deal ,let's not forget that
They wanted him and the deal was much easier with it ,and while he didn't play a lot he actually improved his game a lot .he moved to Villarreal better player than he left Barca B

He played just under 50 games for Sevilla iirc, which is an absolute ton. He was never going to be a key there if we let him stay, though, it's obvious the type of player Emery likes regardless of how Denis (or Deulo who still ended up top assister) performed, especially when closing out a game in the last 20-30 minutes.

Wasn't aware he had much of a role in Rakitic's transfer.
