Not saying he isn't good because he is, but when I read stuff like "the closest to Messi" or "best u25 player", then I wonder what the fuck is going on here and wether people actually also watch Juve at times or just eat up the propaganda. Apparently when people refer to Dybala they think of that one game against Barca he had, and now they extrapolate this to heights in which they think he's normally like this. FYI: The guy had a great game vs Barca, then went back to go missing for another 7-8 games in a row and this was a regular thing last season. But of course noone remembers that, because that would require actually watching him on a weekly, rather than a yearly base in CL.
He has about nothing in common with Messi except for being also small, Argentinian and kicking the ball with the left foot. But apparently this is all that counts though nowadays when comparing players. Dybala is the new Messi, Mbappé is the new Henry because he's French and from Monaco, previously Martial was the new Henry because he was French and from Monaco. Keita is the new Kante, because he's small and black. And so on...
Yes Dybala is a great player. Yes his game could evolve. But at the moment he isn't what people seem to think he is.
