Okay. Please tell me more about how good the others were against Bayern. And IIRC Pedro scored the winner to send us through to the semi-finals but I assume that game was irrelevant as well. Yawn.

My post was in response to BerkeleyBernie's. I just forgot to quote it. If you read his post then mine, it will make more sense. And I'm basing my opinion on his general play - not the individual goal. Would you actually dispute that he was very poor performance wise vs PSG? BTW I was only talking about the second legs because those were the games where we had similar lineups to today. So you don't need to remind me of Pedro's goal.

Pedro ended last season very well too....

Alexis > Pedro

Alexis lately has been brilliant, I think he will be a key attacker for us next season. Also, his finishing is better than Pedro's.

Come on guys, your getting excited from players performances in lame duck games? No way. I really think we should sell Sanchez now, particularly since his price might have gone up a little with his promising performances of late.

Pedro>Sanchez purely because Pedro shows up for the big games, Sanchez doesn't. The only time he has made an impact in a big game was the tying goal against Madrid last season after Valdes threw the ball to Ozil 20 seconds in at the Bernabeu. That changed the game for us and helped us win that game. Other than that, he very rarely shows up against big games. I know everyone was terrible against Bayern but he was probably the player I was frustrated with the most.

Like I've said before, we need a new CB more than we need Sanchez, particularly with Neymar in the ranks. Also, Deulofeu being loaned out is dumb. He should come into the first team now and get some games in. I fancy both Neymar and Deulofeu>Sanchez once they get into the swing of things with the first team.

Sell him for 30 mil then we can make a big push for either TS or Marquinhos...and hopefully Martinez.

I am a Pedro backer, but thought he played badly against Malaga. He looked the least sharp of anyone on the pitch. He lacks the precision that won him a first team and national team place. Pedro's the only player on the team besides Messi with a left foot shot. Hopefully Neymar is comfortable cutting in from the right and can switch flanks.

How I hate that we keep him because he is from Masia even though he is a bad player , nowhere near the Barca level , while other better than him will leave this summer

Man of the Match for me. Hardly not sharp, had 90%+ pass completion, created the first goal with a brilliant run, and wreaked havoc with his runs on the Malaga back line the whole game, involved in creating nearly every Barça scoring opportunity. People focus on his missing his volley on that one bouncing scoop pass from Cesc and a few other moments. When he scores a few goals in a row, then everyone will say he's "brilliant" again. People should watch what he does off-the-ball.

It's sad that he went from an obvious starter to whatever this is. He was one of my favorite players. I am quite sure he'll be here at least another season and I truly hope he'll regain his form; because regardless of what people say, acting as if he has no talent and has always been awful, this guy is a beast when in top form.

I hope the extremos rotate next year, going with who's hot. Pedro was not great towards the end of this season, when Alexis really came on. I don't think little Neymar will get big minutes his first year, so there's room for Pedro, Alexis and Tello to earn playing time.

Just wondering; who would buy Pedro? For which team would it be a good transfer? It's just so hard for me to picture him in another team, I personally wouldn't buy him if I was a Napoli, Valencia, Atleti, Dortmund, Inter, Lyon etc...
