Pedro Rodriguez

You can't blame Messi for this. Pedro was great on 10-11, playing with Messi.
Not so much Messi himself as the rest of the team. Messi has proven himself to be the example of consistency. When other forwards struggle in front of the goal, players tend to look toward Messi for this reason. Pedro was great on 10-11 because Messi wasn't the same player he is now; Villa and Pedro were great, Messi didn't need to put the team on his back as much.

That's all I meant. Just a theory.

I am sure I watched one game for Spain this season when he got a hat trick for Spain playing false nine role.

He is playing in different positions for Spain against inferior teams.

Even when on the right he seems to play closer to the CF for Spain.

Pedro looks better on the right with Spain as there is a CF in the box.

With Barca teams show him down the line and want him to cross it as there is no one there. He also can play one two and passes with the CF to get passed his man when he cant dribble them.

He was all over the place today (in a good way). At Barca, his play seems restricted unlike 2-3 years ago, when the 3 forwards would always interchange.

That strike. It is now Pedro 1 - Neymar 1

Neymar's was better and Pedro's was a huge deflection

Pedro was very good today. Even if you don't take that goal into consideration, he was significantly better than at pretty much any point this season for Barcelona.

I believe that his best position is through the middle, or at an Inside-Right, rather than disciplined Winger. He has excellent movement and looks to receive a pass, side-on, allowing him to get a quick shot away, or a one-two-pass.

He does appear to play with the shackles off, when on NT duty. Unfortunately, at Barca, this whole thing of being told by Tito to hug the touchline, renders him not much more than fodder for Messi.

I agree. Luck played its huge part, but the ball in Pedro's is a bit harder to control. Anyway, cheers for him.
