Pedro Rodriguez

I think he was on the market this summer, but no team made a decent offer for him.

I believe there was a possibility of him being sold for 25 million, but team didn't want to sell both him and Sanchez and Sanchez fetched better price.

I love Pedro, but he is a strange case.

I don't get how one goes from cool, composed forward play and scoring goals in the big matches (Clasico, CL final etc..) from 2009-2011 to what he has become now.

It sucks seeing him like this, but he really needs to step up his game if he wants a future here. I still believe in him, but he needs to get it together.

Yet another poor performance from Pedro. Not Barca quality at all. By the time Suarez gets back he'll probably be so deep on the depth chart that he'll be watching from the stands.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
He's not even half the player he once was... I thought he had a nice start, but after the save by their keeper he broke almost every single attack that involved him...

Thing is, there is a time when you could have made a case for Pedro as being one of the best wingers in the world. Now he has just fallen so far from those heights that it actually hurts to see him play.

Just such a bizarre case. You see players have breakthrough seasons all the time then diminish, but Pedro is doing it on a whole new level because that gap from the top of his career to now is just massive.

It really hurts to see him play like this. Days of Pedro-Messi-Villa seem like was decades ago :( May be he's down on confidence. Hope Lucho is able to do something with this.

Sandro is essentially a bigger, stronger version of him. I hate to say this, but he's a bit useless in the squad now. Won't be surprised if he's sold next year.

Should have gotten that penalty in the first half. Sucks to see him in this form, and he hasn't been linking up with Messi too well IMO. Dissapointing to see.

yeah well, we should sell him next summer if he plays like this for next season...it´s getting tiring

He won't be sold unless the plan is to have Munir, Deulofeu and Sandro as the backups which would be a mistake IMO, at least not for another season after that until we see how these young guys develop.

Pedro is fine, we have 3 world class players as our starting front 3 who are going to play every game they are fit for (barring some rest matches), you can't add another World class player into that frontline this is not a video game. Pedro works hard, doesn't complain about not being one of the main guys and still scores 10-20 goals a season. What more do ye want exactly?

Not Barca quality? He is a backup player, if you can't win trophies with Pedro as your 4th choice attacker then you have bigger problems.

cant understand how we sell an exceptional player like alexis and this useless chicken on LSD stays

what are you talking about ? He played a great game.Pedro is a footballer's footballer. The average fan doesn't see or understand half of what he does on the pitch, but other footballers do. He is one of the best in the world at what he does.

I might have no ideea what I'm talking about tho'. I didn't feel ok all day and at the news they said something about a virus. It is called the BerkeleyBernie virus .

Actually it makes perfect sense. Alexis is too good to player a part time role, with Suarez in the team Alexis would have been moved to the bench. Pedro on lower wages will happily play a sub role.
