Trust me Zidane will be fired this season. He needs Ronaldo and a Prime Modric to shine.

He won't be, because they can't get a new before next summer. And if Flo fire Zidane he admits that he has f***** Reals last seasons royally up, which he won't do.
They will stick with Zidane until they get some success (like Copa) and hype it up to be equal to a treble or something - anyway more likely than sacking Zidane mid-season.

I agree with this.
but does that mean you dont want Rakitic to start Barca games anymore? Since he is old and just not good enough just like Modric, Kroos, Marcelo..etc.

That is the problem.
Our and Real's grannies are bad.
But the alternatives of Vinicius, Dumbele, Malcom, Alena and similar are even worse.

10, 20 and 30 years ago, Barca and Real were buying proven players.
Today it is not possible because we have too many rich teams like Barca, Real, Psg, City, Utd, Bayern, Liverpool, Tottenham, Juve and no one is willing to sell.

That have led to clubs being forced to buy 18-19-20 years old.
Since you can buy them either then or never.
And look at this: in the past, when we bought Ronaldinho or Etoo, they had 3-4-5 seasons in bigger or midtable teams and some NT matches.
And we had a larger sample of matches and there was a smaller chance to buy a fraud.

Today, Real is signing 17-18 years old kids.
Now, do you think that a kid will fail in a spectacular way if RM buys him aged 18 or 23?

And all these 4 transfers: Dembele, Malcom, Vinicius, Rodrygo are extremely risky transfers.
My bet is that all 4 will be failures.

Anyway, I think that something will change and after a few similar failures, clubs will be more cautious in the future regarding this too young and unproven expensive players.

The problem for Madrid is that they need these kids to step up badly. Now. They have no right wing. Dembele for example, even with all his flaws, would improve them massively. Rodrygo, Vinicius and Kubo as well are physically (!!!) not ready.

Same in midifeld. They tried their luck with young talents and none of them stepped up (yet). We are in a much better situation with the likes of Arthur and Frenkie, who are both much further in their development than the likes of Valverde, Ceballos etc pp. So theres hope for us.

Other than that I dont think you can compare Malcom or Alena to them, because noone expected them to be more than squad players.

The only transfer we recently did that really hurt us was funnily enough Coutinho. The "proven" one. Dembele at least has a distinct, useful style and contributes when fit. Even if hes not on the level of Neymar, Etoo, Ronaldinho etc.

They need to revamp their backline and midfield, Ramos look too old and someone as Casemiro's backup. They desperately need a proper winger. Also, Zidane is absolutely clueless in building a team. A non-existent system eventually crumbles.

It's pre-season but the thing is they are just showing even more continued decline in the same downward spiral they were showing for the entirety of last season.

Pathetic. They are so afraid of another friendly embarrassment that they are playing with 5 defenders against Red Bull Salzburg
