for example: dembele and griezmann have many more goals and assists than Harzard yet i dont think anyone would argue that they have 'delivered'

Hazard's Madrid stint has been riddled with injuries thus far. Yet, when he did play, showed promising signs. Unlike our guys who rarely do even when fit (Dembele and Coutinho, obviously, that french fucker is always fit).

Of course, it might end up a total disaster of a transfer. But doubt it would be down to attitudes.

Clubs don't pay that much if they don't see the potential. Just like we're seeing now with Haaland and Mbappe. Not saying those two are going to flop, though. But they might. Nope. Clubs are getting richer and richer.
Real Madrid bought Zidane for over 30% of their annual revenue. PSG did the same with Neymar and smashed the transfer record in 2017. More revenue = higher transfer fees.

Things are going down with Covid crisis but we all know it will go up in the future. Even more with the changes in CL or the infamous Super League.

Too early to say anything about being worth anything since he doesn't play.
Obviously hasn't delivered as has barely had the chance to. Had like 2 uninterrupted stints with 3 or more starts in a row.

Flop is an easy thing to shout as it can mean anything and you hope nobody will question you. Equally means nothing specific and is a waste of time.
