Alternatives for CB thrown around:
- Leny Yoro (18) from Lille - though out of nowhere and knee jerk after one good game vs PSG
- Inacio (22) from Sporting
- Antonio Silva (20) from Benfica
- return of Rafa Marin from Alaves
- Marvel (brought up by Ancelotti in post-match) from Castilla

Not looking good this

That Yoro seems to be heavily linked with a lot of top clubs all of a sudden.

Gonçalo Inacio is definitely going to be a top defender, staring to get some Portugal caps too.

I think Inacio has been linked for some time to Madrid. Wouldn't be surprised if Floro took this as an opportunity to advance his signing.

60m release clause for Inacio. Should be no problem for Floro to trigger that and to avoid battle with PL clubs.

Dont really see why we'd invest in a 60M player with the 4 players we have contracted
Nor do I see him wanting to be 4th CB even if Nacho leaves
Granted - neither Alaba nor Militao are surefire going to make recovery to normal state, but still, this does not feel the right kind of move

If go for anyone it'd be either a raw Varane-type U20 talented player that we can send on loan/sell with buyback (Yoro) or an experienced dude who wouldnt mind taking over Nacho role

Wonder if Diego Llorente can be called back from Roma easily enough to Leeds and if they can be convinced to take some money
Hell - call Boehly and ask if he wants some money for Silva lol

We wont
We'll run Rudi to the ground, make Nacho do double the work for half the pay he deserves and give a Castilla player with 2-3 yrs of senior football experience like Carrillo a grand total of 100 minutes gametime all spring. Regardless whether it's Las Palmas, Almeria where a manager could prepare the team for it with less risk, or where an opponent is better

Expect Rudi-Tchouameni tomorrow
Then Carrillo + Nacho in Copa on Sat
Rudi-Nacho in Supercopa
Then maybe Carrillo back in side for Almeria but only if he has a faultless performance in Copa
If not, Carlo will continue to run vets to the ground and move Kroos/Fede/Cama to DM while Tchou shifts to CB

And TBH nobody will care about it because Spanish sides in general too shit to capitalise on major misses at the back so we probably wont (or at least, frankly, shouldnt) even notice

It was like i said in the summer, Perez don't care how this season goes.

Anyway, hopefully we get kicked out of CDR as soon as possible, to prevent further injuries.
