They most likely won't and I doubt they are in trouble. They will go on a serious shopping spree in the summer. Get rid of CR and put in a lot of cash for Verratti, Pogba, and their other targets.

Going on massive shopping sprees hasn't proven to be a successful model for them in recent years though.

But he's talking about the next round of Champions League not next season.

First part of my sentence covers the CL discussion.

RM are solid enough to at least make the semis this year. Only way they won't is if they face us or Bayern in the next round. Odds of that occurring are very slim.

RM can just knick by PSG, Man City, and the other good teams.

Forgot about Atletico. I think in CL RM have a mental advantage over Atletico so I have to give them the upper hand.

No they can't ! Barça, Bayern, PSG, Atletico would knock them out.

They're not "as favourite as Barça and Bayern" like they want to believe.

They will make the semis. Can't be too tough to beat the mighty Gent, Wolfsburg, Zenit or Benfica.

They won't win the CL no matter how much they proclaim "Well we will just Focus on the CL anyway!"

This team has quality players, But the overall structure of the team and down to tactics is so poor. The lineups are Typical as Zidane is stuffing it full of the star players and playing some of the ones that were outcasted by Benitez as an attempt to appease the egos in the Locker room no matter how badly it hurts the team's balance.

I think the one that was Hurt the most was Casemiro, he went from being a regular under Benitez to completely being Regulated back onto the bench for good now and Kroos took his role and he isn't even a DM.
