Well, there are atleast 2 players in our team that 100% have huge respect to Bielsa. These players are Messi and Alexis :)

I dont know what to think about these news. It feels weird that Guardiola might leave the club, but on the other hand, it also feels the opposite. I dont like the 3-4-3, I dont like the fact that he always brings in Keita, I dont like the way he puts up his game plans and such etc etc. But also the team has brought titles, playing amazing football and all that...

After the anger left me since loosing to Chelsea, I want Pep to stay even though I think that he sometimes does stupid things.

Pep to stay or Bielsa to come. Im sure he can manage Barcelona.

Pep, if you leave, pleeeease oh please take Keita with you.
So you think Pep has done a lot of mistakes 13 titles out of a possible 18 and still you guys want more,he is human after all and may make small errors but that doesn't mean if he goes the one coming in will not do them.

Exactly..I've staid away from this forum these days because of people like El Guaje(who blames Pep for being to stubborn and inflexible with his tactics, but then is unhappy because of the 3-4-3 formation he used this season).

If it's one mistake Pep made this season and I've been saying this from the summer, not now when it's obvious for everyone, is Cesc. I wanted a striker or a defender instead of him, but now it's already to late for Pep to change his mind and sell him like he did with Ibra. I've also defended Keita's use in Milan( when many journalist were accusing Pep of being to deffensive and because they thought 0-0 was a bad result) and I would have preffered him in London instead of Cesc. But this is all I can criticize of Pep..it's not his fault that Pique, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Abidal and Pedro were affected by long or recurring injuries, that VV and Alves have been subpar, or that Alexis failed in London and Messi missed a penalty.

After so many moments of joy that this man and his team have given us, now is the moment to support him no matter what. If he stays, some though and unpopular decisions will have to be made(like the one he did at his arrival in 2008) and that's what is probably keeping Pep from remaining with Barca. I for one would gladly accept a trophyless season if that means Pep remains another year and rebuilds the team.

Yeah, the 3-4-3 is the only option to choose from. All other formations, plans according to the situation the team is in do not exist...

Cesc Fabregas has been a pretty good signing. If it was not for him scoring some very important goals, we would have been left behind even more in the league. Not to mention the clasico goal, the goal against porto etc.

A striker wasnt needed at that time, so nobody can blame Pep and the staff for that, as they didnt know that so many injuries and drop of form would screw the players.

Ok. So just because he has won 13 titles out of 18 possible, it means that he cant make loads of misstakes. Great logic...

He could have done more mistakes but could any other manager given us so many trophies, keeping a beautiful style of play.

3-4-3 is not a bad formation but the defenders that we have doesn't suit it but we cannot question him on the formation too using that formation he has taken the team to a CL semi final(any other club would take it as an achievement) and 3 trophies too with the possibility of 1 more.

I thought those 3 cups belong to last season. Didn't TV3 made that documentary in 2010, after Pep's first season 2008-2009, named "El Barça de les 6 Copes"? Even on the official website there were 5 cups lined up earlier this year, representing the cups won last season. We didn't win 3 cups this season and contend for one more. We won 5 last season and we're contending for just one this season. Whoever is happy with just CdR is a hypocrite and forgot how we all mocked the merengues for being happy with just that cup. I really can't care less about that trophy after these 3 games where we epicly fucked up.
Now let's see if he'll renew! I want him to so he'll finish his transformation plan of the team. If he doesn't... I'll just thank him for this dream! He deserves a statue built in front of Camp Nou.

yeah forgot that;you're right there.

And No. I was never one to make fun of them for winning Copa. And the Madridistas were right to thank him for not throwing what would have been then (and ended up being) their only trophy of the season away. those who did make fun of the copa and were seriously doing it, did not understand the meaning of a cup to a team, and some other who did not really mean it, were making fun of Madrid for the cup because of Mou's ridiculous antics, dramas and theatricalities. they would never acknowledge whatever he won after his ugly display in his press conference and games, but deep down they all knew that Madrid had won something finally and it makes a difference.it was important. Pep started showering us with cups with his Cdr trophy as well.so did Mou in his tour with chelsea. The mentality that got us this high up from what we were, is that a trophy is a trophy. No Cup is unworthy of winning.

and totally agree with your last sentence, man. 100 percent.

No man , all supercups and CWC belong to last season not this season.. they are all directly connected to last season trophies ( Supercup due to winning the league and /or cup -CWC because you won last year CL ..etc )

so the correct naming would be last year Barca won 5 trophies (which is magnificent )

yeah right,Beastman. had forgot about that. and yeah it was truly magnificent.

I like you man :pep:

:pep:

lolz.

Who the hell comes up with game plans and such? If it was not Pep who told them how and what to do on the pitch, then who did it? Puyol doing a John Terry?
And even if it was not Pep (who else might it be? -.-), then why cant he see that forcing the ball through the middle doesent work? And that passing 100 times doesent work? Is it hard for him to order them to try the wings too? Yell to them so they start shooting more? To stay behind when they currently are through to the finals?

Tell me where I am wrong.

if you actually watched the game, I guess you could have seen Pep on the sidelines...your comment suggests otherwise actually, or perhaps you are not used to read the meaning of Pep's gestures...

From Sport:

Must make decisions in the locker room for him emotionally hard

Pep Guardiola doubts

After settling the semifinal against Chelsea, Josep Guardiola faces the biggest issue for the club's future

Juan Manuel Diaz / Javier Miguel | 26.04.2012 | 10:53 pm

Once finalized items two of the three great games of the season and the final of the Copa del Rey to a month view, Josep Guardiola faces the biggest decision in four years: Barca continue to lead one more season or we can wrap up this stage and face new challenges. Pep has everything going for it to take the `yes the president Sandro Rosell but want to be sure to choose the best for him and the club.

It is impossible to know what's on Guardiola's head, beyond some ideas that he has been passed in its many appearances before the press and the few things that, with a dropper, have been leaking into the environment Barça.

Pep has always said he would feel that his players while still hunger for titles. Everyone, from Messi to Cuenca, through Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and Valdes, have publicly called for renewal. But the coach needed a sporting event of this commitment. The demonstration of recent months, linking eleven wins in the league Real Madrid to approach while attending the fronts of the Cup and the Champions League, have served as confirmation that their players are competitive and want more titles.

Guardiola also has a large credit from the fans who chanted his name repeatedly and smoothly after the last two against Real Madrid and Chelsea saw with satisfaction how the Nou Camp chanted in 'Cant Barça' and 'Being Barca is the millor that has hi '. Moreover, as a coach, would meet the challenge of returning to the club since the depression of defeat to the path of the titles, as it did in 2008.

Sure, there are also aspects that are working against the continuation of Guardiola, who has in no way delayed his response to maintain a pose during these months but had serious doubts.

For starters, if the step forward and renewed, must make important decisions in the locker room and could be emotionally difficult. When he reached the first team took on the progress of Ronaldinho and Deco, Eto'o then and then that of Ibrahimovic. They were sacred cows but were not their 'praetorian'. Now, however, it is necessary to address issues affecting some players with a high specific weight and who have helped in the success of these four years.

You need to sign a striker and a central should be transferred to some players 'middle class'; some heavyweights should be gradually lost prominence in the starting line and others should seriously rethink their professional attitude in some details performance have been penalized. If he stays, it means that Guardiola is ready to carry out these essential adjustments.

These are the subjective, emotional situation. But there are other criteria and objectives coldest place on the negative plate of the scale. Today, the Pep Guardiola sum thirteen of seventeen titles that can be fourteen of eighteen on May 25. Not only that, the 'Pep Team' is the only one who has completed the sextet, and his qualifications and football, besides marking a time came to open the debate about whether this is the best team in the history of football.

In these circumstances, the reason may push you to pack it difficult to guess what can be done to overcome these successes. The team has peaked and it is obviously impossible to stay permanently in excellence. On the other hand, wear personal peculiarities is managing a club like Barca implies an extra factor for Pep often had to pull the car virtually alone.

And finally, is the temptation that is starting a greenfield project in another big league. No one is aware that the poster is unsurpassed in Europe Guardiola and his advisor Josep Maria to come Orobitg future deals. It is known that very Roman Abramovich, the Chelsea owner would put their million available to the Catalan coach. Silvio Berlusconi also be delighted with the opportunity to accept direct the booth of Milan. It is especially attractive the idea of leading the England team. Options only consider whether to decide to leave the Camp Nou. The 'Gent Blaugrana' cross your fingers for not giving the case.

The 3-4-3 was made for Cesc..so if you like him, you must also like the formation.

And sorry if I don't evaluate a midfielder for the goals he scored(especially considering that in the examples you give those goals were not decisive)..Keita scored more importan goals last year(against Levante or Zaragoza) and I don't see you praising him..also with Keita in the team we made a 0-0 in Milano, with Cesc we lost in London. I'm not saying that it's Cesc fault that we were eliminated, but I don't like you atacking a SQUAD player, with a SMALL salary and a SMALL fee in comparison with what we paid for other players and who has done many important things for this club just because you don't like his face.

I hope you will be more happy when Pep and Keita will leave..I'm sure that with Pep being the worst coach in the world, anyone who will come after him will win more trophies in less time.

Oh..and I hope you enjoyed Mou's performance yesterday cause I know you consider him to be a far better coach then Pep and the best thing to do at 2-0 is to go all defensive.

Rosell offered Pep total control over everything, including signings players, selling, his contract... If he doesn't stay, he must have really strong reasons.

Absolutely, hate it when they have a go at Pep and Keita who has such a small salary and does a good job for the team.
