As I said earlier I also highly doubt that he will leave after this season. It just does not make sense since I am convinced that the "feeling" that is so crucial for Pep is still very much intact. I know the meeting is now reporting that the scheduled meeting for tomorrow is cancelled but that does not necessarily mean that it will be a bad outcome.

Pep is a winner beyond any doubt. Usually they don't like calling it a day under such circumstances (losing both major trophies for the first time in 4 years)

Unless he is really fed up,needs a rest or change of scenery and feels he is not able to offer the same effort as he has always done which would be a big shame.

Lilo (Blanc), Valverde (wtf), Bielsa and Villas-Boas are mentioned. But let us leave that discussion until we know whether he continues or not.

The club has apparently set a deadline for Sunday according to TV3.

But he already refused and there will be a joint press conference by Guardiola and Rosell tomorrow after practice session.

I don't think I could ever understand how difficult (and stressful) it is to manage a team like Barca. If he leaves, then it must be for personal reasons, especially family, who he probably hasn't spent time since he got the position. He always stated that if the team gets tired of him (or something to that effect) it would be time to leave. I always trusted Pep and if he feels it is time to move on, then so be it. The team will go on and if he is in a happy place in life, good for him. He deserves it.

Hopefully I am wrong and it would be wonderful to see him constructing the team for next season. We'll know soon enough.

Refused the blank check? Yes I have read that but again nothing is certain yet. I have already acknowledged that he looks more likely to leave if we are to believe the local media BUT my own personal belief is different and based on what I have written in ths thread and what I have read/know about Pep.

Or maybe I am just positive as always and have a hard time to realize that it's mostly likely over for now. Or maybe I just "fear" for our imminent future if we appoint a new manager since that would probably mean a transitition year or two....

But ojála Pep will renew.

Just because I like Cesc, it doesnt mean that I like the 3-4-3. Why would I have to do that?

I was talking about important goals. And he has scored alot of them, if he was not there to score them, Barca wouldnt have as many points in the league as they have now.

He scored in the 2-2 draw vs Sociedad, equalized against Valencia (2-2), scored in draw vs bilbao, got us the lead against Espanyol (ended 1-1) and he sealed the game against both Porto and Madrid. In his first season, he has scored like 15 goals and gave around 17 assists, how bad eh? Our 2nd best goalscorer lol.

Please dont make me count all the games that went to hell as soon as Keita went inside. And the other problem is that he takes up time from players that actually do something on the pitch. And also, Keita has not scored against Levante or Zaragoza at all this season.

Those are goals that worth 4 pts in the league: just as much as Keita gave us last year with his goals against Levante and Zaragoza.

Also the main reason behind the 3-4-3 is Cesc..because Pep hasn't found another way to use him with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta at the same time on the pitch. And if you want to say all the bad things that happend with Keita on the pitch, please do the same for the good things..and then make a comparison with what Cesc has brought us as a MIDFILDER(because I said, I would have preffered a striker or a defender in his place, who would have been far more usefull this season and who wouldn't have obliged Pep to use his tactics after his players, but rather the other way around).

And please dont exaggerate, I only said that Mou was better in some aspects. Where the hell have I said that Mou is a superior coach to Guardiola? Where have I said that Guardiola is the worst coach in the world?

Im sooo growing tired of him and his utterly retarded decisions. And his game plan & tactics too.

3-4-3, why? So unstable at the back.

He subs in KEITA when he is in need of a goal.
He takes Cuenca out eho was one of the better players.

He is incapable of changing tactics. You can clearly see that middle is not working, why not use the wings? NO, force yourselves through the middle!!! Our goals came from the sides after all...

Break the best midfield duo, why? Iniesta aint half the player he really is on the wings but yet Pep keeps playing him there.

Busquets pffffft. This guy is as useful as a scarecrow in defense.

He keeps playing too many midfielders. Who is gonna score your goals??

Another thing is when we had 2-0 he sjould have order the team to keep the ball at the back, cuz chelsea kept parking the bus. Chelsea would have been forced to go forward then in order to collect the ball, which makes more space for our players.

And there is much more.

Pep, I hope you leave. Hell even i am a better coach.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
I'm almost convinced he will not renew... He became so attached to our group of players that now that he thinks some might not be useful to the team he doesn't want to be the one to show them the way out... He rather leave himself than deal with such an emotional decision... I think that's very noble of him, he will be giving a second chance to the players by denying him himself his very own second chance...

I hope he can work it out though, I wish he could stay...

Yeah because what I said equals that Pep is the worst coach in the world. Dear Lord...

2012:
Levante: 2-1 (Messi 2 goals)
Zaragoza: 1-4: Puyol, Messi x2, Fabregas and Pedro

2011:
Levante: 5-0 (Fabregas x2, Messi, Cuenca and Alexis)

The season before (2010-11)
Levane werent even in the league

Zaragoza 2010: 2-1 (Messi 2 goals)
Zaragoza 2011: 1-0 with Keita scoring the only goal

So you were taking goals out from nowhere. It took me 3 minutes to look this all up.

And again, the 3-4-3 is not the only option that exists.

Edit: And also, its pretty hard to judge Fabregas as a MIDFIELDER in this Barca because he has been playing all sorts of weird positions. Who do we have to blame here? :))))))))

sky sports 'breaking' news is that he has told the club he wants to leave, and take a break from football.
