Now he's speaking about the Bayern - Barca game.

He doesn't know how he feels about it but says it'd be a special game for him (?). He's sure it'll be a good game and says they'll play BVB 3 days later in the Super Cup and says it'll be a good test of the team and ended in English saying "will be good".

Now they asked him what he knows about the BuLi teams and he said not that much but that he's seen the weekend games Bayern played and thought the teams seemed good. He wants Bayern to play their game against the opposition.

Peps German isnt very good yet very good for someone not from a Germanic language speaking country.
He will surely get much better at it the next year, its honorable that he is even speaking it, a lot of trainers would not.

Now they're asking him about Bayerns youth teams (questions and answer in Esp).
Can't really hear the answer as they're livedubbing it. But something about hearing good things and looking forward to finding out.

god, the board of Bayern is so arrogant...always picking on others Teams (at the beginning, when Sammer, Hoeness and Rummenigge answered the questions)...and in the movie they showed no humility at all...i hope they land on their feet

god i hate them...

The level of his German wasn't that good, but it is definitely very impressive, that he is learning only for 6 months and has the balls to speak public. Also, German is a very difficult language, for people that have Spanish as their mother tongue. Good job, Pep!

Spanish isn't his mother tongue. ^^

According to Bild, his wife/partner quizzed him on German vocab on the plane.

Pep-mania has arrived...

I love how Bayern presented themselves with that humble-family club image again; because as we all know anything else than instant success will lead to instant turmoil. The first five games will be crucial for Pep; Bayern plays Gladbach, Frankfurt, Nürnberg, Freiburg and Hannover: Anything else than fifteen points will lead to what I like to call the van Gaal effect.

Well, at least what he said had some substance. Better than Rolex-Kalles' unbearable rigmarole.

"Barcelona players have different qualities to those of Bayern. I need to adjust to the players, not the other way around," Guardiola said at a press conference.

"Football belongs to the players, not to the coach. The fans come to the Allianz Arena to watch the players play rather than because of me.

"I will have to adapt. The formation I use does not really matter."

"Bayern won all titles that they could win last season. Expectations are very high. I can only try to keep up the same high level the team had under Heynckes.

"I have not been in touch with him yet, but I hope to do so shortly. His opinions means a lot to me.

"I have a lot of respect for his performances, not just for what he achieved last season, but for his entire career. I feel honoured to be his successor."

"In my opinion a team does not need a lot of transfers when you have just won four titles. The team is already pretty good.

"But I don't know how Matthias Sammer, [Karl-Heinz] Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness feel about that."

I think even Catalans learn both languages, since their birth. Is that not correct? Also, even if you consider Catalan his mother tongue, he still has the same difficulties in being able to speak German.
