I think most of the Bayern fans would be much more angry of the way they lost than the loss itself. The most fearful, unplayable and destructive team in the world (at least for 2012/13) looked sterile and toothless for 90 minutes. Not good.

Lol at unplayable...they lost 0-2 against Arsenal going to the next round with a score of 3-3 and won the final with a 90' minute goal, with some undeniable referee assistance when he didn't sent Dante off after the penalty in what was a very close match.

They looked unplayable against a clueless Barca, otherwise every time they play Dortmund it's a 50-50 game.

Pepism, it is my religion

Didn't see the match but wouldn't surprise me that they failed to win, they look a weaker version of last year's Bayern in terms of how they were able to throttle most opponents...They're more technical now under Pep and their passing is sharper (No surprises there) but their movement is much more calculated, methodical and gradual in attack...Whereas under Heynckes, they were explosive off the counter - it was impressive but perhaps not sustainable for the longterm...Their midfield did a great job of soaking up pressure that neutralized even the best midfield in the world in Barcelona with the help of a physical Martinez

Neither of those things will happen in 2016. Laporta is not backed by the Socios they way people seem to think he is on here.

Pep is not coming back to manage any time soon, he will be in England next.
Yeah, I wonder where... Which English team could be able to handle Pep's playing style and requirements? Man City could be his destination but still I dont see it happening

Exactly. Dormund had the momentum at 1-1 and if Dante would have got the second yellow as he should have, than Borussia Dortmund would've probably won it. They caught us in a bad shape in that semifinal, much like we caught them in 2009, when we could have scored them 6 on Camp Nou, but settled with 4 before half time.

I think if Man U had qualified for the champions league, it would be appealing for Pep. It's no secret he enjoys challenges.

That's yet to be determined, managing Arsenal or Man Utd would be a worthy challenge, more so than Barca or Bayern. If he ends up at PSG then you know Pep takes the easy road..

Do you know why he picked Bayern? You don't. I'm pretty sure picking a new job is a bit more difficult than thinking "hurp durp what would be the easiest?" This isn't FM14.

Yeah, thats exactly why he picked Bayern... The easiest road possible

I'm note sure it was the easiest road possible. Getting a treble-winning team, with the pressure to win it all again... ofc he didn't know that, but I think he chose bayern as it might have seem to him the place where he could implement his ideas in short term.

Yeah, picking the best team in the world currently, surely a coincidence. I do love Pep very much but you cant disagree that he has chosen the easiest way!

There surely was/is pressure on him to win the CL again but no-one has won it twice in a row so it wouldn't be that much of a disappointment if they didnt.

A team that walks through their leauge? Not really a challenge
