But not okay that people told this to the press. Emotional stuff said in training are supposed to stay between them. Not cool Thiago.

So Rummenigge says that he expects Guardiola to stay longer at Bayern than people would expect because unlike at Barcelona he's allowed to take part in the decision making of transfers while at Barca they gave him Ibrahimovic "whether he wanted it or not".

After Cruyff's recent "the coach doesn't make decisions at Barca", his own sarcastic statement "let them be happy with the players they've got" and the Fifa agent rumours that he wanted to sell big names like Cesc, it is quite obvious what made him leave I suppose.

Yea, proof or no proof, if you put the pieces together the conclusion seems to be that Pep left because he wasn't allowed to make the decisions he once made back in 2008. In my mind, he viewed 2012 as the end of that cycle -- and it petty much was.

And about Bayern and Pep, there will be a falling out next season. Guardiola's style is tailor made for Barcelona.

Rosell's plan was clear from Day one, rid the club of everything associated with Cruyff & Joan - that included Pep...The first thing he did in his administration, without even consulting Pep?...Sell Chygrynskiy...Right from the beginning, Guardiola was sent a very clear message...His departure clock started officially then but for all intent & purposes, I'm sure he saw the writing on the wall during the election before Rosell even began his term - like many of us saw coming

But Ibra was bought under Laporta, not under Rosell?

What a complete load of boll0cks that is.

They only sold Ibrahimovic because Pep wanted him gone and in doing so lost about 40m on the deal.

If they wanted to get rid of Pep they could have kept Ibrahimovic, that deal was so bad they had to sell Chygrynski.

When Pep wanted to leave they did all they could to keep him and kept giving him more time to change his mind.

The way people on here change history to suit their arguments is mind boggling.

So they fixed a bad deal with another bad one? This is gold

You love being a troll like you claim other are.

Who said they fixed the Ibra deal? The Ibra deal was bad because Pep insisted on him and they paid far too much and they wanted rid.

Selling Chygnrnski for 15m was a good decision based on ability. Selling Ibra for 24m was not.

I'm not trolling, just baffled with the stuff you come up with to defend this board. You said they had to fix the Ibra deal by selling dmitro. Your words: "that deal was so bad they had to sell Chygrynski.". And it wasn't a good decision, as he was bought for 25m and sold for 15m.

I am saying they lost so much money on the Ibra deal that they had to sell to help take the hit and selling Chygrynski for 15m was the correct decision. No idea why Pep even wanted to keep him anyway.

If you are going to attack the board for that then look at previous board that paid about 40m for young south american players that Pep never wanted or refused to sell Etoo when he wanted to.

These type of things happen at all clubs and managers often.

To use it as evidence that the board wanted rid of Pep is a farce.

They wanted to rid of the 'Laporta/Cruyff' era that they wanted Pep to leave....... then replaced him with his assistant. It makes no sense whatsoever.

They never paid 25m for him. They could only make the decision from the player they had on their hands and to sell him for 15m was the right one and has proved to be since.

Would you have preferred the club had a player that was not good enough on their hands and let him run down his contract all because they paid 25m for him?
